Re: 2017 Rising Star Nominations
We haven't played many sub-10-game players, which I assume is your point?
I think Brandon White, Ben Long and Josh Battle may be the only eligible?
Marshall was 21 at the beginning of the year so wouldn't count.

1. We are 11th. We are not contending.
2. We are not developing players under 22.
But hey Curls. In your mind we have an awesome list and we we would have three flags this century if it weren't for those pesky cheating umps right.

Re: 2017 Rising Star Nominations
in fairness though while we are 11th we are 1 game out of 7th and for much of the last 2 months floated between 6-10.Con Gorozidis wrote:Fact check:CURLY wrote:No idea what this is supposed to prove,

Many were also early draft picks which we haven't had. Gresham, Acres, Dunstan, Lonie, Sinclair, Steele, Billings, would all meet that under 22 criteria though just blooded earlier.
I do agree overall there is a slowing in the development of some , which could be players thinking they have made it, other teams putting more work not them or coaching - or a combination of above.

Con is really the jiggster's evil twin! The weird thing is when I read con's posts I feel like Mary poppins but when I read jiggster's I'm thinking "we'll never make it!"

Re: 2017 Rising Star Nominations
We have 13 rising star nominees on our list.
Not that it means anything.
For example, Jack Newnes was never nominated, Arryn Siposs was.

Well, one goal umpire at least. Plus the maggot who didn't pay a free to Schneider when he had his jumper pulled over his headCon Gorozidis wrote:Fact check:CURLY wrote:No idea what this is supposed to prove,
