Just got home from the game. So very proud of the players, the coaching staff. Brilliant to be there. I know one swallow does not make a summer, but I am just going to enjoy that win . Well done, boys.

Just reminding Kelly that if he comes to St Kilda he will be playing alongside fyfe.

ChrisRyanSaints, just came to this thread after the horse has bolted. Many of your posts are totally out of order. Bagging and abusing our players in such a hardcore fashion is just not acceptable on this forum. Seriously bloke, you need to have a good look at yourself. Just like one of those "supporters" who sits behind you at the footy constantly bagging and abusing his own players. A number of your posts were just plain offensive.
High chance he's an oppo troll. Calling players retards is disgusting.
Of course he's a troll. Who else would abuse our players like that? He can't write and comes across as an illiterate bogan. Filth troll, I'm tipping.

Why?????

They are both different in that we have an option to choose one or other depending who the opposition ruckman is

We have Kruezer this week and then Sinclair the week after - both are quite mobile - good chance Hickey comes into the side against these two and Billy is "managed"

Yep. If we are not going to play two ruckmen, this appears to be the way to keep two very good ones on the list.

Share the load over the season rather than over the game.

I read it slightly differently - come to the Saints and we'll pamper you (even on-field massages) - all you have to do is sit outside the ball-getters, receive the ball, dish it off cleanly to the forwards or kick the odd goal or two yourself if you want. Easy life.

Jack Billings - 116 AF Points
Jack Steven - 113 AF Points
...
...
...
...

Nick Reiwoldt and Leigh Montagna - 133 AF Points - combined

I love both Roo and Monty - but it is great to see our future featuring so prominently in the outcome of the game.

We were always thereabouts - so I felt confident that we were sitting poised to run over the top of GWS.
GWS don't like losing - and fought bravely and with intent - which made our win even "more pleasing".

Last week Bont got 103 points against the same opponent.

Different game, Different Arena, Different circumstances - but it is not like Bont got over 100 and Billings got under 50.

Billings is a different cat to Bont, but I like his progress - and I am certain he still has a massive upside.

And I still stand by that even after the heat of the annoying game time in viewing posts

Last night was a great night for the club, and a big step forward for the younger guys, but let's not get carried away that we are deep into September bound just yet. GWS were missing several guns, a player down early, they were ripe for the picking.

The group is growing, but it's not a premiership squad yet,it needs some tinkering, we need two more top end talent elite mids,or one elite mid,one elite outside or high half forward, both requiring good foot skills.

That's why the Kelly after the siren viewing was pleasing....

I found this a pretty positive look at the win.

Though I would have found a way to squeeze in my thoughts that Dylan Roberton must be in All Australian calculations if his form continues.
