Weller family ?
Has to be Jack Riewoldt

God I would hope not. Terrible character.

Just look at what he did with Triple M earlier in the year, told the AFL world that the club had decided to boycott them.. when it was only Jack who decided that.

Besides where would he play? I doubt it would go down well with the majority of the group If he was to take the spot of Bruce, Membrey or McCartin as well as a huge chunk of money

The pittard talk is legit.

Back story, grew up as a mad sainter, Vic boy, we told him we were going to take him at pick 16, enter A. Lovett, he went to port, was enjoying it until Richo left, Hinkley's a bit of a ****, super strict re havin an occasional beer etc as opposed to richo who thinks it's a good thing for bonding etc, there was division in the ranks, having a few bad seasons kinda killed the dream for a few of the younger boys, he might not be the only one looking for a trade. There was talk through his manager about mid way through the season that he was keen on the saints. Though he doesn't have much love for roo after a choice (and hilarious) sledge directed pittard's way. I'm sure his massive bump on roo in round 1 this year was a bit of payback.

However, I have no idea if it will materialise or not, we have a lot of half back flankers..

I don't want to appear to be pouring cold water on this. But for the life of me I can't see it happening. Not even in my wildest dreams. Pittard has enjoyed a breakout year for the Power. He made the 40 man All Australian squad. He is contracted until the end of 2017. I have not seen a single thing to indicate that he is dissatisfied or seeking a trade. In fact he appears to be extremely happy in Adelaide. I would love to have him but I would like to be convinced into believing we stand a chance. Just throwing names into the ring for the sake of it is not helpful in my view. No offence intended.

Would Fremantle let him go? He's the kind of player they want and need to keep I would have thought?????

Again great to get if we can get. But I can't see it happening nor have I seen any signs that he wants to leave.

Not trying to be negative or dismissive. Would just like to see something more concrete than wishful thinking.

Freo might be willing to let go of Weller if they are set on getting Sam Petrevski-Seton with pick 3 - (a similar type of player to Weller).

They can then use our pick 10 and whatever they get for Mayne/Ballantyne/Clarke to get both Rory Lobbe and McCarthy from GWS and maybe another kid with a pick in the 20s.

Wouldnt be a bad result for them really.

BJ's coming back? We poached Jobe?
BJ's has been told he is no longer required as captain, will be replaced by Jobe if he returns or Heppell if he does not.
BJ is to be blamed for Essendon winning the wooden spoon - he was the captain failure.
BJ has said he will come home even if he is to be paid in peanuts.

Jack has got jack of his Richmond teammates not trying.
He wants out before they win next year's wooden.

Lachie has been promised a major modelling contract if he moves to Melbourne.
Said to be worth more than Visy paid Chris Judd AND it is as real job.

Mark Steven(s)? To convince channel 7 to get us out of the s*** Sunday twilight games
Randy Savage? We need more macho men
Diana Ross? Great out front
Robert the Bruce? A real warrior who loves the physicality
Condoleezza Rice? Great organiser of defence

Bluthy - would have been very keen to get Randy "Macho Man" Savage, if his manager "The Lovely Elizabeth" also came across as an assistant coach. Amongst my favourites of the early WWF ( as they then were ) days. Alas both of them no longer with us.

Not so sure they will land Lobb
But they also need currency for B. Hill.. (didnt realise he is only 23)

hawthorn would be eyeing pick 10 to bundle up for Omeara...
So, Fero basically giving Weller for Hill

Seems plausible to me

They will be working it to keep pick 3 for Petrevski-Seton, as you said.. so they may have prioritised him over Weller (as well as B. Hill)

Yeah seems plausible. Leaves Freo with a horrendous fwd line still. Saints would want a bit of pepper back.
Maybe we give off 10 plus Longer and somehow end up with Steele and Weller. Seems about right.
