That brand exposure is our biggest loss of this whole fiasco.

Re: M A X 35 degrees !!
I like the idea of playing in regional areas but maybe Toowoomba would have been better.Stephen Theodore wrote:I don't know the answer, but would presume they're attempting to break into NRL territory.Harves Man wrote:Yes, exactly! Why play football in the tropics?!!! Brisbane is at least in the sub-tropics. Mackay, Rocky, Townsville are all very strong Rugby League towns, not so much Cairns, where it's probably 50/50 ?? Lot of ex Southerners in Cairns, Port Douglas, etc.
Obviously February, March can be very wet in the tropics, so was certainly a risk playing this time of year.
A big town outside Brisbane. NRL teritory but not a monsoon zone.

Worked their proverbial off today in stifling heat at Seaford. Interesting to note at the end of the two hour session two stayed behind for some extra running...Paddy and Dmac. One stayed even longer than all of them for some serious lead up work and continuos sprints........Freeman.

Also great to hear Paddy and Dmac are also putting in the extra hard yards as well.
Thats what champions do.
Re: Tuesday
Apparently they did 12km of running on the soggy surface that day which was taxing. Not as good as game time but still helps make it up a bit.tony74 wrote:Worked their proverbial off today in stifling heat at Seaford. You're both correct...they both had it, but D-Mac's was reported to be less severe.saintsRrising wrote:You may be getting confused with Rice who has it.magnifisaint wrote:I thought McKenzie had glandular fever

Re: Tuesday
They both missed about half a dozen sessions. Just a matter of getting miles back in their legs. Same with Goddard. He's still not at the same level as the other boys.
