Starting the savings plan now?

Post: # 1600444Post saintbrat »

for 2018-2020 and beyond
AFL Grand Final tickets are now on sale — for as much as $2640 for a category one seat.

The AFL Event Office began selling tickets on Tuesday, with the cheapest being $950 for a category six seat at the rear of the top deck of the MCG.

At the 2015 decider won by Hawthorn, 26,000 of the 100,000 MCG seats were used by corporate ticket holders, ticket recipients because of AFL obligations, club sponsors or coterie members.

A $950 seat for the 2016 Grand Final includes entrance to the Foxtel Footy Festival Precinct, while a ticket costing $2500 or more includes access to Centre Square before and after the match.

In 2015, AFL Event Office tickets ranged from $950 to $2590.

This doesn't matter to us as competing club members does it? We only get allocated the worst seats in the stadium so theater goers who win radio competitions can sit in the decent seats.

A bit early in the year for the annual grand final is only for corporates / wealthy articles isn't it?

Surely the cheapest ticket isnt 900 coins ffs?!?!
What did we pay for premium in 09 and 10?? Under 300 wasnt it???

Or is that for just walk ups who want to go with no memberships to the teams on the day?

Cheaper to be a social club member at the Saints ...then get access to face value GF tix when we qualify. And along the way the social club membership $ goes 100% to the club ... Unlike the ticket packages.

AwayInUSA no longer ... have based myself back in Melbourne for a decade of Saintsational Success (with regular trips back to the USA)
