seems Red is the new alternate colour after the AFL insisted on White based for so long

Essendon's alternate is All red.

It's all to do with marketing.
If we start to play well the club will sell a lot of the NAB challenger jumpers.

Didn't like it when I first saw a photo as I could only see from the waist up, but now I can see it in full & have realised it's the shield, very clever. They'll only be wearing it for 3 games, I'm ok with it.

Great idea for practice matches. Its only a bloody jumper. We have probably had 50 different ones and if are talking tradition we probably didn't have the one now when we started. If we won the flag in 97 I couldn't have cared if it was all yellow as long as it wasn't the oppositions jumper.

I like the design - depicts the Saints crest. Model is easy on the eye too!

One side wore it today at the intra club. It looks okay.
