Jack Steven's report is an absolute disgrace. It was an accidental poke in the eye, what they've essentially reported him for is eye-gouging. Fight them all the way to the high court Jacky boy!!!

Fair result, think he wanted to show a bit of determination and aggression to wake his team-mates up, don't think there.was.any real animosity, more reckless than intentional.

Didn't do much damage, but the guy has form and it probably was intentional, but for the reasons outlined by you.

Three down to two with an early plea would have been more like it.

I think you need to know how the system works before commenting.

I know Ziebell has a bit of a history but I only seem to remember him getting done for being reckless in contests.

The Riewoldt hit a while back was definitely his worst effort, can't defend that one.

I think his issue is that he hits contests at 100% speed which gives him very little margin for error. I think if he was a saint we would love his attack at the ball.

Does this sort of thing nearly every week. Cheap and dirty. Cant stand this bloke. Lucky his scissor kick didn't connect as well.
Said a few years ago he wouldn't change how he played the game and now seems to go out of his way to take cheap shots every other week.
Needs to check his ego at the door

The Baker test will definitely be on show this week with Silvagni's hit on Crippa. Then again, having actual vision of an incident seems to decrease, not increase the penalty ...

I use the baker example on all tribunal hearings and nobody in the modern era of footy has been treated more unfairly than him.
But he is my precedent.

What are you talking about copping 8 weeks or what ever it was in 2010 for a couple of taps on Stevie J was fair.  The fact they invented a rule to get him was also fair.

I don't mind Plugger66 like everyone there are good points and bad points - a lot of what he writes about footy is factually correct but I can see how he does get on peoples nerves as he hasn't got the ability to let an in his mind stupid comment go past without highlighting it ... but at least he is true and consistent
stinger is just a coward hiding behind this new cloak of saynta (not very well I might add) - deep down I think plugger66 is a good bloke just a bit of a joker he is the type of bloke who would be a laugh down the pub ... Stinger just comes across as a sad little man who is deep down a sh*t bloke

I dunno looking back at bakers career now without the rose glasses that we all wore at the time Bakes was a bit of a thug.. but he was our thug and we loved him but its not hard to see why he got what he got from the tribunal

The one that gets me the most was attempting to strike. Never touched the guy. Jumper punches are worse..

Then the Alessio jumping on his leg. Then baker pushes him off with his foot and gets done for that.
And the Stevie J incident plus many more.

Some people say he is a thug then Mitchell is a thug. Hodge is a thug but all were never treated the same way.

I stand by my comments. The most unfairly treated player of the modern era in ALL tribunal hearings.

If you speak to him now he would say unlucky but also deserved some of them especially the Farmer incident. The worst thing I saw him do was hit Kane Jofnson for no reason at all.
