He was great around the ground tonight but part of his m.o. in the side is to kick goals. At the moment he is missing way to often.

Played what ten games in total? Should have got the free in the goal square as well tonight.

What exactly did he do that was good? He doesn't get much of the ball, he doesn't take many marks, his kicking not what it was reputed to be. I'm not really sure what he brings to the table.

I think he's been watching videos of Jodi Arnol.

Geez, you're a hard marker. He definitely played well tonight. Had presence, got quite a few posessions, exerted heaps of pressure.

But still didn't convert as well as he could have.
(Was video even invented when Jodi Arno; was playing?)

We expect a lot of our young players, especially one like Tm Membrey who many seem to think was a ready-made AFL player when he came to the club.

After all, he had played ONE senior game in two seasons with the Swans!

Tonight was his best game for the club. Yes, there is still plenty of improvement needed from him but the upside of that is he will be a really valuable player when he does. He has now played NINE AFL games and is progressing nicely. I love his second efforts and his ground work as well as his strong marking. A bargain in the long run, I believe.

Good work effort.
Good presence.
Strong hands.
Needs better conversion.

He will be a great foil for Paddy and Bruce.

He won his one on ones easily, he's quick and defensive and is missing goals because he doubles back to defence them streams forward when it comes back the other way. If anyone ever played footy you would know that fatigued legs makes you kick like a donkey. If he sat as a permanent KPF he would probably kick with 1000% accuracy but unfortunately there aren't many roles for 6'2" KPFs out there. He is playing a MacQualter type role and was very good last night. He made it really hard for the Dogs to clear the ball from defence which would have pleased the coaches. Rob Murphy saved them a heap last night with his disposal, we really ramped up pressure on their backline.

I suppose that's true, very similar to Siposs. Both apparently very good shots at goal but neither have the luxury of just sitting in the goal square and only sprinting on fifteen leads a game. Membrey is a bit longer though so can do more effective defensive work than Sippa, probably has a better tank as well. I'd love to see them both in the side and performing as roaming half-forwards, but I think we'll be lucky if we get even one of them.

Certainy the best game for the club and to see his workrate it was one of those games you had to be at the ground. Did a great job. If he keeps that up we should be excited.

Still settling in. Good effort last night. I think he adds some extra grunt to the forward line and has good hands. Will definitely get more games.

I like the guy. Gives 110% effort all the time. Ok, he does muck up a bit but that will disappear in time. A real team man and one who will only get better. If he can bulk up more, he will become a Hamill type and be causing no end of mayhem in a couple of years.

Like his endeavour and skills. Has to start impacting on the scoreboard.

We have some work to do on forward efficiency and really missed Billings and Sinclair last night.

Ran extremely hard last night and go himself into dangerous positions a few times and wasn't rewarded by the midfielders. Started clunking his marks last night too which was a positive. Looks like a keeper.

Membrey was a workhorse last night. Played a significant role being the link man between 50 metre arcs. I only wish he backed himself and got the ball moving faster. A lot to work with tho, the kid is only 21 and is built like a bodybuilder.

Billings misses a lot of targets and shots on goal for someone with such nice foot skills too. I think their effeciency will improve with experience as they settle as AFL players.

Membrey is a really talented player who has a great opportunity for a long career. He applies really good pressure, he seems to be able to trap the ball really well also. At the moment he just seems to be lacking confidence, if he can start holding his marks and converting his opportunities he could be anything.

Most promising third tall we've had in years.

Just needs to not hesitate as much once he gets the ball.

Overall was promising last night. Career high 17 disposals and certainly lifted his game involvements.

However he did join us with a dead-eye dick reputationa but so far has kicked 5 goals 6.

He is still young, and lacks game experience, but he will need to score goals more often to survive long-term as a specialist forward.
