Accidental or not- it should have been a free kick!
Accidental high contact is still a free kick.

But s is shepherding/blocking in a marking contest so I'm not sure why Dempster was pinged I the Koby Stevens one either?

That should have been a free kick to Dempster. Frees were 10 to 2 at one stage according to the replay. We only started to get into the game when the umpires gave us a better run after half time.

13 free kicks to 3 in the first half. Followed by 6 to 13 in the second

Hope he recovers and it wasn't too serious. Apart from that I think his form has dropped off. Maybe the opposition have worked out our game plan to a degree or maybe with Jimmy Webster down back he isn't being used as much.

You can't afford to have outside mids running around in the backline looking for uncontested pssessions. There was good reason why he was subbed last week against the drug cheats and I think he needs to work a lot harder.

Well prior to be KO-ed I thought he was havinga very good game.

I think the issue has been more that the opposition area wake up that he is damging with the ball and so have been manning him up more.

Or the umpires started to give us a better run once we got back in the game. They go with winners, don't they Plugger

I wouldn't think so. I only know one umpire and that's Leigh Fisher and I don't think he is that type of person. Obviously you do.
