It was in the match report as an ankle.

Good, sounds like it could be just a twisted ankle which is very painful. Hope it's not a broken ankle.

The head whack by Day was uncalled for - nearly knocked him out. I thought that they had 100% camera ground coverage ???

Acres should never have been allowed back on - hobbling and in pain. Why ????

Yes
I looked to see if the MRP had anything to say .
Didn't even look at it .
The MRP is a joke .

I'm no fan of Johnson but he was sniped by many dockers , if they were in red white & black they'd be joining him on the sidelines .
And Hanneberry is another lucky one , no doubt he would have been doing time if he played for us .

I was at the ground and it seemed bizarre that the GC player took out acres and there was no free kick. It is an absolute joke that he didn't go for that. He has taken a player out off the ball with a snipe. Should get weeks.

Give it a few firm taps on the side.

Or soak it in brine overnight.

There was obviously some sort of collision.
Saw Acres lying on the ground with the GC player running away at speed.

For Acre's ankle I recommend applying a thick poultice of mashed onions and olive oil...also works well if you've got hemorrhoids.

If it's an ankle it's going to be a medial ankle by the way he fell and the angle of the forces...medial's are generally worse, and i wouldn't be surprised if the unlucky youngster is looking at a decent stretch on the sidelines...fingers are crossed though!

A tincture of opium irons out all kinds of discombobulations. Often the best medicine for a case of consumption, which is awfully prevalent at this time of year, is to drink cod liver oil with a chelate of lime and a generous rub down using a salve made from snake oil.

Is very lucky, looked a lot worse at the time, and to end up with 4-6 weeks is a hell of a lot better than season over.

But really, what was to gain by putting him back on the ground?

From what I've heard from a doctor involved, the medicos decision making re Armo's injury caused him to miss many more weeks than he otherwise would have.

Now this? Are our doctors competent? Are they being overruled by the coaching staff, or at least pressured?

It's concerning.
