Kernahan speech

Post: # 1397189Post st.byron »

Just read the following quotes from Kernahan at Carlton's B&F count.
Unbelievable revision of history....

"'If I seem a little bit flat tonight, maybe I'm not that happy - there's a few things that have happened today,'' Kernahan said. ''All this footy club has ever fought for, and me being the forefront of you members and representing you as a football club, has been [fairness] … all this footy club has ever wanted forever has been an equal playing field. That hasn't been happening for the past 12 months.''

I think it's good the other clubs are putting their feelings of discontent out there ..in the public eye.
Might make the AFL wake up to themselves.

He's a filthy piece of $@#M.
His club is the most corrupt bunch of cheats.
5 of their Presidents were criminals.

His comments on fairness are a joke given their disgraceful history.

Who could forget Sticks' other comments at an earlier Scum B&F
"We're Carlton - F@ck the rest!"

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Exactly.

Five of them? Who were the others besides Elliott and Pratt?

Yeah, a bit rich coming from them. Amongst a lot of contenders from Carlton....the TOP award had go to Collo.

Collo tried to get us when he was at Carlton, but got us in the end with the Stadium deal.

Carlton's idea of fairness:

Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

George Harris was the most "interesting" one - he even played a major role in bringing down the Whitlam govt by introducing a dirty seedy Iranian money lender to RFX Connor who took the bait and the Khemlani loans affair was born.
Ian Rice - dodgy businessman.
Collo - well he's the SOTE dog that tried to have us declared bankrupt and went on to craft dodgy stadium deals.

Then there were others like like their "General" captain and coach who used to run a business selling TVs. He reported a major theft, but amazingly after a tip off they were "found" in a warehouse owned by his brother!
Then as coach he mysteriously resigned mid-season at a time when he seemed to be doing OK - rumour has it he was caught with his hand where it shouldn't have been (nothing sexual) and was "asked to leave".

Carlton would be the " last club " to be claiming being up front & honest.

No other club would have got a " Visy deal" equivalent for Judd which is basically cheating the salary cap.

They have cheated when good old Kernahan was playing there "sticky notes "anyone.
Agree not level playing field but supporting " Carlton " response is a bit rich for me.
