Hampson
Parkin just identified him on League Teams as a "should trade" as he will be "worth something" For the Blues. Would we want him to plug our back half/relief ruck (and can we afford him)? Understand he kicks goals and our Stanley forward-to-back experiment is less than successful as yet, but blokes his size (if fit) don't grow on trees ...

Re: Hampson
We need to continue to get young talent in.
We need to continue to develop all our young talent.
We need to identify needs and draft and develop to fill those needs.
It will take a while.
As such I don't think we need GOPs (even GOPs who are better than the average GOP) to plug gaps. Fill the gaps with young talented kids or bite the bullet and trade for real talent.

Another Ruckman?!
To add to McEvoy, Hickey, Stanley, Pierce.... He would be 3 or 4th in line.... I say do it, we traded pick 13 for Tom H... Why not pay 350k for a Sandy Ruckman

Re: Hampson
Here we go...
Soon enough the main board will be a list of every dud player on the chopping block of other clubs, justified by how they might fill a need.
No.

Re: Hampson
Carlton have a few tall ruck/fwd types, that keep him out of the side, I guess.
Still Hampson's never quite been the same since he's been dating Megan Gale

Re: Hampson
We need mids..
We need a FB
We do not need another ruckman. We have 4. All are young to very young, which fits our rebuilding profile.

Re: Hampson
Yes, I hear you all. Dr Spaceman is right and I forgot about Pierce. It takes so long to develop talls that I plead temporary eye candy insanity. The 3.5 other women on this forum might forgive me. Enough said.

Re: Hampson
Think potentially he is a decent ruckman that we don't need! Carlton should have traded one of him Warnock or Kruezer last year, he has been devalued by waiting IMO!
Maybe this year?

Re: Hampson
The best bit is they traded out Jacobs... The best of about 6 ruckmen they had.rexy wrote:Think potentially he is a decent ruckman that we don't need! Carlton should have traded one of him Warnock or Kruezer last year, he has been devalued by waiting IMO!
