Out: Milera
In: Riewoldt

Milera has been sub twice this year, and has given us next to nothing in that role. Saad stays by the skin of his teeth, but if Milne is cleared to play, he steps aside

Heard Gwilt hurt his ankle in the 1st and had a jab so could explain the disposals. Youngsters like Lee may struggle with the short turnaround and the hardness of the game but will just have to see. Thought TDL was actually ok and Milera a Sub gave us a but of run on the wings to be honest, but could still see him omitted.

Outs: Saad Stanley Milera
In : Milne Roo Ledger (give him 2 in a row if his disposal isn't up to it then stamp the papers)

I'd be pis**d off if Lee was dropped after his game today. Presented, can hold a mark, kicked well, why would you drop him. He should be rewarded by his game today.
Fair enough. I didn't see the game - foxtel blackout for some reason.
Thinking of structure and think Kosi must come in next week.

You are joking dropping a young guy kicking 3 goals. Unless he is injured he will not be dropped and that is based on no fact but common knowledge.

I think this week we had an unusually high number of changes to the team, and I am thinking it was purely player management with playing in Perth and then backing up on a six day turnaround. Wouldn't be surprised to find out that Lee is out this week, and back the week after. Also would think Lenny may be struggling to back up on a six day break from playing Subiaco after no footy for 10 weeks.
Sandy didn't play this week so it was perfect to give the young guys (and very old ones  ) a week off.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Webster, Ross, Roo, Kosi all back along with Milne & Simpkin.

Out - Hickey, Milera, Saad, Hayes, and Gwilt and Wright (both injured?)

I cant see Lee and Lenny missing even with a 6 day break. They got back last night so slept in thir own bed. Lenny has a huge fitness base from years of training and would be certain IMO baring injury. I reckon Lee plays no matter how he feels. got to give him confidence after his first 3 goal haul. I just dont reckon Kosi deserves to play. lets wait until we play poorly which will happen again this year and bung him for his 200th. he certainly doesnt deserve a game on form.

OK - Well if they both play I stil think we'll have 3 changes. Hickey Milera and Saad to come out. Simpkin in (Stanley goes forward/ruck), Roo and Milne in. If Gwilt isn't ok then Hickey stays in and Stanley plays back.

TDL should keep getting gametime as he does a lot of good stuff off the ball unlike Milera and Saad and will be better after another solid preseason. I have to agree with Dennis Commetti's comments along those lines of Stanley not working hard enough- doesn't matter where you play, forward or back, if you work hard enough, you win the ball- could be time for a rest in the VFL. Don't know about Kosi getting a game- maybe as sub to get his 200, showed no form at all so far, and Lee is the future in the forward line.
Out: Milera, Saad, Stanley
In: Dunnell, Kosi, Siposs?

Roberton could prob have a break, form has dropped a bit. Just think Stanley needs to play back line. Doesn't look like ever kicking to many goals

How does he go on the training track Tony?

Just having one of those years on field, but he seems to work hard enough.

Yeah, popular bloke and works hard on the track. You have to remember this is his 2nd year so the opposition had worked him out. So keep the faith, he is a very talented sportsman, just needs to learn a few footy smarts from nos. 13 and 44.

Second year blues hit everyone, just look at the Suns last year compared to this.

I want it to work out for him...

I just think Milne defied the odds lasting as a specialist small forward into the modern game, Saad may need to add some strings...like the midfield.

Out: Saad, Stanley - At some stage you have to earn your spot.
In: Anyone else.

Watch the easy option get played and Terry goes out.

Hope Roo and Milney play this week. Also hope Wright is fit, and stays in. He is exciting. Just needs to work on his kicking over summer.

The thing is though whilst we keep playing 3 smalls we are going to struggle to run out games so keeping all of the 6 smalls we have at the club this year would be plain stupid. Milney may retire as may Schneider if he cant get on the park again this year but that still leaves Milera, Saad, TDL and Mitchington. That is one two to many in My opinion. We should only have one or at very most two in a senior games and the maybe 2 in the reserves. I still think keeping all 4 is wasting a position on the list for a potential new player. it gets even worse if the other 2 play on.

Can any of them build a tank for the midfield?

Don't know enough about that kind of stuff to guess.
