He does not work anywhere near hard enough when the opposition has the ball. He will not defend with any real intent. Ask yourself how would he (or Milera & TDL) go in a big finals game when its all about winning hot contested one on one footy.

Sorry Chewy. You have no idea. Regardless of how many opportunities he gets, he's no good. His left side is actually embarrassing. My 7 year old is more confidant handballing with his left hand. It will take 2 years of hard work to realise. Get Minchington in. At least he understands the game.

We were completely flogged today, Saad was terrible, but I reckon it's a bit rich to point the finger at him at quarter time when there was an avalanche of inside 50's the other way…

Saad is lightning quick, lays plenty of tackles, is just approaching 25 games after not growing up playing the game. Obviously due for a spell, but he's not far off Milne's 2 goals/match record. There will be lean games from him yet, just like with Milne.

Why are we developing another forward pocket player?

Milne defied the odds, but it's not how modern footy is played.

Small forwards MUST rotate through the midfield surely, the notion of one position for entire game won't see us catching up quickly.

Maybe it's time to just rest midfielders in the forward pocket like they used to do in the olden days and not play any specialists apart from Milne (who goes up the ground anyhow).

Saad is not up to it. Has never been and most likely never will. Is it personal? No. He is probably a nice bloke.

He is a front runner who has no left side skills what so ever. The guy cant even handball left handed and has no overhead skills due to his lack of size. Pelchens bargain trade collecting SAAD & MILERA is looking less and less likely to suceed. Regardless of where players play the first recruiting priority should be ability to WIN THERE OWN BALL which neither have!

Bring in LEDGER or CURREN to develop at least they rotate thru the midfield.
