Well, one of the best bits of entertainment I've seen at the footy was a session of dog trials.
About 10 years ago at the G ?
The whole crowd was into it...I kid you not, as the little fellers did their jumps.
This must be what the new guy has in mind for half time...

The reason everybody hates Collo is he pushed the AFL for every buck and as to not s*** their pet anchor tenant they screwed the smaller clubs like us and the dogs. Collo is a business man and did what he did to make his share holders richer. Unfortunately we the ones that had to make sacrifices. the AFL bullied us more than Collo as Etihad manager it's just that he had a shoe in the AFL court as well so he was potentially compromised.

If you read I'm not saying it's all his fault but the fact that he was so inter-connnected with the AFL and it is seen that we were treated differently to other tenant clubs and we actually lost money while making it to pay off the stadium makes him a fairly unattractive specimen and a figure to hate for the poor deal we received.

You dont lose money anymore whatever the crowd at Etihad. That was negotiated while Collo was there. the original deal wasnt. As I said seems a strange reason to hate him. Dont understand hate at all anyway.

Plugs, whilst the deal now is better, there was plenty of years to have had the contract renegotiated in a fairer way, so we could've lost less money.

Sure, that's mainly the AFL's fault, but as Gringo states, the AFL and Collo piss a lot in each others pockets.

This new bloke sounds like an A grade dill. Razzle Dazzle?? He sounding like the very first people to run ES, who decreed that there would be NO walk up seating..and that "the Melbourne sporting public will have to change their habits simple as that"

Lasted one year...til the new boss took over...his name?/ Collo...so like I said, better the devil you know. Heres some things to be getting on with for the new guy tho

1. Make the food and drink affordable and stop banning outside food

2. Stop booking in bands with billion-tonne stages (ie KISS) in March when the ground should be getting meticulously prepared for AFL football...you know..your major tenant and breadwinner??
