List Lodgement Two
List Lodgement Two is due on Thursday 15th. The way I see it one of the following scenarios will occur:-
1. A senior player delisted and (a)Curren promoted and a rookie spot created. or (b) an extra pick used, around 69.
2. Two senior players delisted, and (a) and (b) above put into effect.
3. A Rookie player delisted. (Remember Watters has said we will use the rookie draft. We cant at the moment).
4. Nobody further delisted.
Which do you think will occur?

Option 4. We can use the rookie draft if we don't use 77, I think?borderbarry wrote:List Lodgement Two is due on Thursday 15th. The way I see it one of the following scenarios will occur:-

you'd think they'd have the draft and list changes done by now. i don't understand why monkey boy drags this whole process out

Re: List Lodgement Two
do they have the no hopers draft where delisted players feel wanted only to be thrown on the scrapheap again? How must some of those guys feel. This should be held at the Newmarket sale yards

They moved the draft back so that kids doing their VCE or similar can get exams out of the way beforehand.magnifisaint wrote:why is all this crap dragging on

If you say so - the cynical amongst us may believe it's to try and keep the AFL in the sports media for an extra 4 weeks of the off-season !!Animal Enclosure wrote:They moved the draft back so that kids doing their VCE or similar can get exams out of the way beforehand.magnifisaint wrote:why is all this crap dragging on

Re: List Lodgement Two
It is important that the kids concentrate on their VCE.
Most will not make it as AFL players.
About 50% have below median intelligence so are going to need all the education they can get.

50% have below median intelligence?? - well presuming a non skewed normal distribution this is true for those of us who post here as well. Was it not George Bush 2 who was much put out on being informed that 50% of Americans had below average (mean) intelligence?
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

damn straight, any chance- it was footy season and a month of games. luckily it was too hard with autocorrect to write anything sensible so was kept to scores and seeing who played well.

Having an education doesn't necessarily mean that you are intelligent. I know some real dumb well educated people and some extremely intelligent people with little education.
I'm pretty sure Albert Einstien was thrown out of school because the teachers thought he was not the sharpest tack in the box. His mind was so advanced he was probably just bored to death.
Having said all that it appears a lot of AFL players do some dumb arse things!!
