Margin comp v gold coast

Making some wholesale changes to the competition and this is the last time. Trying to get this a bit more interest by making it simpler.

1 - winner

2 - which player/s will score most goals for st Kilda (double pts for guessing multiple winners; half pts for guessing one)

3 - first goal scorer for st Kilda

4 - most possessions

5 - margin.

Few changes for this round. You no longer have to guess an amount for goals or possies. This is for two reasons - its easier to calculate on my spreadsheet and it's less to take into account.

If anybody scores a perfect ten by getting all five correct, they score a bonus twenty points. Thirty all up for grabs.

Leader board and results will be ups other time - bugger all movemt this week though.

RESULTS LAST WEEK


Well it was a terrific week overall with 37 points all up being dished out, but not a good week for St Kilda going down to the tigers by 8 points. Dragit was closest, tipping Richmond by 7 points and for his troubles, he gets zero points for tipping the margin just one point off. he does however also collect two points for correctly guessing Roo to finish on most goals. As it was split between Saad and Roo, anyone tipping either player would only earn one point. Bonus points were still awarded for guessing the amount. SainterK and saintkellerm both scored two points for category two by guessing player and amount of goals. TheJeff was the only player to correctly tip Roo with 3 goals, even though eight other posters also tipped Roo for most goals.

The star of the week with a whopping EIGHT points was newcomer WellardSaint who scored in three out of four categories, getting the winner, first goal scorer and the leading possession getter.

Other players to get most possies were bergholt (who finished on five for the week) and SainterK, while the other players to nab Saad as first goal kicker were OneEyedSainter77 and matrix.

Not much movement in the leaderboard with the exception of newcomer WellardSaint leaping to thirteenth with eight points and SainterK leaping to equal third (up seven places from tenth last week).

Correct.

the ruling on tipping two players is as follows:

You may tip as many players as you like but they ALL have to be leading goalkicker (ie onwe of them can't win it outright) for you to score points.

If you select more players, you doulbe points if correct.

So if Kosi and Milne both kick five goals on Saturday and that is the most, WS will score 4 points for cat2, 2 points per player.

This is also why I removed the need to tip goals scored too. Just so I'm aware dragit, would you like me to change your tip to Roo, MIlne, Saad and Kosi. If all finish on (for example) 3 goals, that's a lazy 12 points, HOWEVER if Roo scores 4 and the rest three, you score zero.... what say you?
