Blake is always on the list when thinking who can make way for young blokes and guys returning from injury - has been for years - but he just keeps performing - last night was outstanding

He was terrific. And not just for the job he did on Waite. When Armo scored that goal deep in the third after Lenny magically sold some candy on the sideline, it was Blake's ruthless attack on the footy at ground level that gave us possession. I recall him throwing himself into contests like that a couple of times last night ... just great to watch.

He got a full on kick in the guts in a marking contest as well but just picked himself up and carried on.
