Membership renewal letters / MCG seats

Post: # 1172521Post saint66au »

Receieved my renewal letter for 2012 Membership today. Included in it is my seat for 2012 MCG home games..and its 6 bays away from where I was this year

2011. P13 Row D

2012 P6 Row A

Wondering if anyone else has been moved? front Row is great..but Im not on the Wing where I was last year and am at ES home games. If it means that Im with the folk I sit with at Etiahd thats great..but just wondering..

Also..does anyone know can you cancel your Age subscription deal, whilst keeping the rest of the Membership intact) without having to fill out a form from scratch again??

I just got mine today, didn't check the MCG seat but i'd be hoping they reallocate the seats. As the idea of sitting with others in a small group didn't happen clearly.....

According to the letter I was in P12 row A, a few rows away from where you were I think.

We organised seating together last year as handed in our forms together, but didn't happen,so here's hoping....

My renewal had no details of MCG seating. Just the option to change my seat.

hated last seasons seats at MCG
game against tigers......shocking seats last seats at back with only wire fence separating us from drunken foulmouthed tiger supporters. Took
forever to get another seat further away from them.

Asked for seat change for geelong game.
Got seats on fence. Then along came geelong supporters & sat
wherever they wanted to.

We have sat on fence at etihad for 12 seasons. Just a disgrace last year.
better not happen again.

I believe you need to alert the Club by TUESDAY NOV 8th if you want changes before the auto renewal kicks in arond the 15th.
so if you don't want the Age etc, wish to upgrade or downgrade....

I personally don't expect the equivalant of my seat at Etihad-- Just nice to have an area.. but better if it's a Saints area, and if I can have the seat designated/reserved before then thats good.
nothing will match my row A under cover at Etihad anyway...

BTW
did many get the emailed survery senht out recently?

I don't expect same seating as etihad either.
But......don't expect to be last row in front of standing area for
opposition supporters either.
Last year was a shambles at the MCG. Cannot tolerate opp.
supporters being allowed to surround me at their free will at my
expense. $$$$$$$$$

are you on roll over?
do you have reserved seating?
anything requiring change?

if yes to any of above I'd maybe suggest being pro-active and ring- they have increased the membership department and it is now based at the club.

Has anyone else still not received their membership renewals?
I have a reserved seat at Etihad and thought I would have received renewal by now?

I had a problem with our Reserved Seats at the G. When I rang the club I was informed that this would be fixed AFTER Christmas as the club was giving members (and themselves) ample time to change their minds/categories. I'm not expecting ours to arrive until Late Jan/Early Feb although the 1st payment will come out of my account next Tuesday 15th !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

I don't know if it's the same for everyone else(I assume so) I logged onto the saints membership website(www.saintsmembership.com.au) and noticed an $80 3 Game membership renual sitting there.

I guess if you don't want to change anything(I.e type of Membership) you can pay up without needing the letter.
Mine went through OK.

I rang them today re a change to mine and was informed the deadline for the roll-over letters to be mailed in has been extended to 15/11.

Anyway, I'll miss the first 6-8 rounds while sunning in Thailand

Back when we're ladder leaders, undefeated towards the half way mark! 8-)

For those interested in 'moving seats' or reserving seats in Saints friendy areas I know of some not being renewed- or weren't renewed in the Aisle 15/ 16 area.

Bratty do you know the cutoff date for renewing reserved seats..ie the date when theoretically seats would beceome available for re-sale to new owners as it were?

as I haven't found any info only yet-but from experience it has been around 12th Dec so this year could be 9th Dec or 16th dec being the 2 Fridays around that date.
