The "Time to go" thread...

Post: # 1074528Post Life Long Saint »

List all players here that need to have their papers stamped for 2011. These players have their best footy behind them and are filling up space taking spots for kids.

I will start with Steven Baker. A teriffic servant of the club. May cop weeks for the high shot on the Hawk's player (Osborne - I think). It is time for him to give up his spot for someone like a Lynch or Steven.

I'm am sure there are more.

No point baiting if no one's nibbling!

Baker's on 199 games. Might be 200 and out.

The idea of Dempster as trade bait has given me a giggle. You might as well try to trade me: I'm 52, have a paunch and can probably cover 100 metres in 20 seconds with a gale behind me!

That is the million dollar question. The jury is out. Will he start planning a 2012 model or will he dust off his 2005 swans premiership dvd and stay living in denial?

Facts are that Lyon gor us to two GF's where we were within a kick of winning both.

Facts are we didn't win either.

He changed the game from 2007 to the beginning of 2009.

We need to regroup and start the churn of young players. We still have Riewoldt, Fisher. bj, Joey, Dal and others who can be our core, but we need to bring in our young players like Steven and Armo and Sippos and get games into them.

agree. thats why i said jury is out. he deserves and has earnt the opportunity to re-fresh and re-invent... if he has any ideas and a plan. by all means he should get another crack at it. but if he just going to say - all we have to do is put in the effort and execute the 09 plan and we will be apples then hes kidding us all.

Are you serious...

Watch the match again... Especially the last quarter... EVERY single possession in the last resulted in a Hawk score...

Probably the worst individual peformance of the year...

Joke of a player, joke of a post...

Just get rid of this enormous waste of space dud...

Agree with the person who said Dempster was good. Easily in our best 6 but lets just say the same names are no good and should go.

Rubbish. H has taken us to 2 GF's and for almost 2 years we were the benchmark of the AFL. He deserves the chance to rebuild this team more than anyone right now.
