Don't be surprised if a player or two get delisted and there is the possibility that someone will get traded in or maybe out. Watch this space.
Looking like we'll participate in next years draft too.

Re: Saints chasing big names
We've sacked so many coaches ... coach after coach. Whenever we've replaced a coach, we would have aimed to improve with their replacement, on each occasion. My gut feeling is, it's mostly backfired - and we we either went backwards or it had no impact, most of the time. Your qestion has already be...

Re: Saints chasing big names
We really need to do the study (I can't be bothered; and as I said my gut feeling is that the study will show that coaching changes have not imporoved our team on most occasions, and in fact, may have impacted us negatively, more often than not). You really think a W/L rate after changes of coach 10...

Re: Saints chasing big names
The burley we've been using to try and land a big fish has not worked so far. We don't look like being contenders anytime soon so perhaps the marketing spiel needs to change The message to ooc players might be that the Saints are a team who has to rebuild and they are looking for young stars who wa...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
Games played is an interesting point of difference though. One played 15 games and was the team's best player in a final. The other played 2 for a bottom 4 side. Both injury affected seasons but that suggests the difference between the players. Games played is an interesting difference, though I wo...

Re: open/closed training
Hey there,
I think spiral3 did a report on that session
http://saintsational.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=96706
Or this was the next training thread from a week or so later

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
I'm not the one trying to suggest NF's VFL form was comparable to DH's AFL form over a sustained period of time, no misrepresentation needed on my behalf. No-one is. It must be hard to keep up at times? No wonder the concept of a process seems so exciting. Enjoyed that spread sheet you put together...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
Apples and oranges comparing DH and NF. Are you saying the experienced orange was carrying injuries and had niggles or was it the apple that had the physical and mental scarring from years of injury as well as a shoulder that needed surgery? Personally I think people are quick to come up with meani...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
Also I think the only way a well structured organisation functions properly is if each position is given the power to fulfill what they are employed to execute, as experts in their field. If Lethlean is making calls on player contracts, and draft selections as reported, what is the point in having e...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
I don't mind what Lethlean has brought, but I don't think it was that difficult a job to come in and basically kick heads when we were very much a basket case. I also have no doubt that he would have chopped Richo in the review process but for the contract extension, I imagine AFL HQ would have told...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
You do realise you are appearing to channel your inner Con more and more. Stay crazy angry... Round 6 is fast approaching Maybe everyone who doesn't go along with your "process" narrative is turning into Con? Round 6 has no significant meaning to me btw, but it does seem to be becoming an...

Re: Hannebury Hurts Sometimes.....
You've probably heard the saying, "we are a process driven organisation, if we look after the process the results will take care of themselves", it's a proven system. Having "a process" doesn't guarantee anything and is only 'a proven system' after premierships have been deliver...

Re: the view from the bridge
Apparently round 6 is when Alan gets the sack according to most of the expert failure-predictors on here, that's the camp you're in aren't you? If it's not round 6, when do you think he'll be sacked? Man it sounds like you have a real persecution complex. I assume you are talking about the 2 & ...

Re: the view from the bridge
Just to be clear, I welcome opposing views to mine It honestly doesn't seem like it with all this 'groupthink' rubbish that you keep awkwardly spinning. But it's difficult when you put up logic like, "he had us in the flag mix" and "we only won 4 games" and I predicted we'd fini...
