Reckon he might be looking for a trade come years end
The report about today's training (in another thread) said "Bytel very sore and swam in the pool".

So there probably isn't anything sinister in his omission.

I have been told that there has been some sort of "policy" decision that the Marvel roof will be closed for every game.

Does anybody know whether that actually is true ????

Re: This is what I have been talking about - love it!

Hardwick talks about tough and uncompromising footy, but what Mansell did was not tough and uncompromising. It was a cheap shot to the back of the head in a pack with his opponent laying face dirst toward the ground. I'm all for a hard edge with tough and uncompromising footy but the cheap shots ar...

I see that they have officially announced the signing of Jack Hayes (good on him, yaaayy) and also have confirmed his jumper number as 47. I believe that 31 is "reserved" for Leinert but that still leaves a wierd question - why have they left out numbers 40 and 41???? A belated tribute to...

Re: Saints looking to fill Coffields list position

A number of Port fans on BF have stated Lienert is not a key defensive player despite his size. If thats the case why are we even bothering, develop the younger players or look else where. 'A number of Port fans'- listening to their opinions would be like watching youtube videos of 5G conspiracy th...

Re: Saints looking to fill Coffields list position

I thought we had an abundance of defenders. I didn’t even think Coff was a guaranteed start.. Wow.. True - but he isn't really a like-for-like replacement for Coff. At 195cm/93kg he is supplementing Allison (195/87) and Highmore (193/86). Arguably, at the moment, he would be more able to deal with ...

Re: Saints looking to fill Coffields list position

I like the look of his commitment, too.

Apparently Port told him in his exit interview that the only reason they delisted him was to give more development time to younger players (he is 27). So he might be a good pickup to fill a gap for a year or 2.
