Re: Surely Caro gotta be joking ..?
The Herald Sun spread was much worse. Over three or four pages. And it was self demonstrating in regard to what the Judge said about trial by media and how Milne had copped it unfairly from the public (all taken into his considerations) - tucked away at article's end. Headline easily could have rea...

Re: Saints- Pass or Fail for Trade Period?
Boyd may turn out to be a very good player but it will be interesting to see whether it creates any unrest at the Bulldogs with their other young guns and what they think they are worth in comparison. It's a big punt on a young player who hasn't shown a lot as yet. If the Saints are going to throw t...

Re: Rhys Stanley for Pick #21
Disappointed that Rhys is moving on despite some erratic form. The deal is done so fingers crossed that the recruiting staff can pluck a superstar with the incoming draft pick.

Re: GWS to get pick 1
Terry Wallace indicated on Trade Radio that he thought O'Rourke would be better off going to the Saints - probably made O'Rourke's mind up (to do the opposite!)

You always hope that these days never come but knowing in the back of your mind that all players have to leave the game eventually. Lenny was guts and determination personified. Those candy sells ahhh ...

Re: Shuey attempting to spoil
If that is the quality of the assessment process by the MRP then it needs a serious overhaul.

Re: Shuey attempting to spoil
Mike Sheahan ("On The Couch") indicated that he was happy Shuey got off with the MRP but the discussion turned to fears for Roo's health with some big knocks (including the Shuey incident)- go figure. Very ordinary decision in my view.

Re: Observations this week
It didn't appear from TV viewing that we tried a man on man contest in the second half. While I accept Port is far classier outfit at this point at least it may have given them something different to think about. I am assuming that Richo was trying to use Milera in an attempt to get better delivery ...

Re: Best ever saints quarter of football
The last quarter 0f the 1966 GF was the best result but I agree with Stephen Theodore - I think the second quarter of the 1991 final was the best quarter of football I have seen from the Saints even though the final result was wretched.

Re: St Kilda, a club in crisis. The Age
What I would like to see in say, 4 year's time (sooner would be better):
Mark Williams as the St. Kilda coach proudly standing on the dais at the MCG with the premiership cup in his hand: " Caroline Wilson: You were wrong!"

Re: Umpires are cheats
The Saints are obviously a very undisciplined team (TIC)! Be interesting to see what happens when we play the teams with the higher positive free kick differentials.

Re: Experience & depth under 26
For what is was worth Terry Wallace gave a quite scathing appraisal on AFL Trade Radio of the Saints' list management practices (more so in the Ross Lyon years). He thought St. Kilda would not make the 8 next year and would then "fall off a cliff" (as the Bulldogs have this year) in 2014. ...

Re: Which St Kilda player kicked a goal from the centre ..
Over the years I have managed to get to a small number of live Saints matches and as it happened a game that my parents decided to take the family to was that match against Carlton when Val Perovic kicked that monster goal as you described it Enrico. It is the one memory that has stuck with me from ...
