Re: Saints homeward bound!!
Can someone succinctly please explain why we built a major complex in whoop whoop only to not like it and want to build another major complex inner-city? Are the people that ticked off on the whoop whoop building getting built held to account? What about the people that want the inner-city facilitie...

Re: Former Players- where are they now
What does St Kilda mean to you? I’ve met some great people here and formed some fantastic friendships. I was captain of the club which was a huge honour. I’m glad I played a part at this footy club and was able to wear the jumper. Now I’m focused on bringing the next generation through so the club ...

Re: Jack Steven contract
The club does have one very hard decision to make though. If Jack receives an average offer we must match it because we wont get a first round pick but the big decision is if Jack receives a great offer we must decide if we match it because unlike when BJ left Jack is closer to finals at the Saints...

Re: Why not just move back to Moorabin?
I don't get why we have to move back to the Junction Oval? Obviously Seaford isn't working out and it looks like we are unwanted at the JO by community groups.. Why not just move back to Moorabin or just stay at Seaford! Because we have only got 11 million to spend there. I reckon they would need a...

Regardless. There has been a certain disconnect between the Saints supporters and the club since it moved to Seaford. Look I think the club had to move from Moorabbin. The place was a shamble, falling down and really a piece of crap. Not being able to get the council to allow us to move up the road...

Christian can't be totally full of himself. He was a gun marking power forward, till he found that he wasn't going to be tall enough. (I remember going to school with a bloke a bit like that... best player in the school, played CHF. Despite being a Sainta, he was zoned to the Tuggers. :( Played one...

Re: Phillip Hughes RIP
Considering the shot played and his head tilting back due to the hook/pull being played the way it is, it just sucks. No helmet could protect anyone against that shot and the body movements (head tilting back leaving neck exposed). Unfortunately, it happened. Did anyone see Brendon McCallum's inning...

Also Lenny turned down a role at the Saints. He begins at the AFL tomorrow and Richo did not delve into it too much probably because we did not really care or as why.
He will continue to mentor Dunstan and ideally a few other of the mids however that is where it begins and ends.

Re: What's left in the PSD and rookie draft?
What about McKernan? Has our choice of two KP types cruelled his chances, or are we stockpiling? I hope not. We should only take mids for the rookie draft. We should only take mids in next years draft. Mids mids and mids. Even thinking of starting to drink mid strength. No sorry can never do that. ...

Harrowing to watch Michael Clarke. Regarding the bouncer, it cannot be banned. You'd also have to ban short leg as a fielding position too as it could also happen in that position. It was a freak accident. Plain and simple. And terribly sad. Playing plenty over cricket over 12/13 years, yep. It was...

1. We wanted Goddard from the get-go. Richo made this abundantly clear pre-draft. Goddard can both ends of the ground and is seen as someone who can become a swingman but actually do both jobs well. . That may be so....but until the Blues surprising wasted their pick 19 taking a player that they co...

6. The market for talls re Free Agency is light (Gillion). Hence why we probably drafted talls with the benefit of hindsight.
