Seems to be playing a bit more of a forward role this year than pure mid like he did last season. Kid has all the tools to be a very very good player once he gets properly fit to run out a full game ala Armo.

It would be a bad decision to delist Saunders when he is just starting to learn his midfield craft. He was recruited as a mid and has started to show form at VFL level as a mid, he just needs midfield time in the AFL to show his wares. Is having a great first half against north.. some blistering runs out of the back half.. Disposal has been very good actually when not tunning a million miles and hour. Needs to continue this for the rest of the season.

Shame that he starting as a sub. Hopefully gets a chance over the few weeks gets a couple of full game to get a bit of confidence going into the pre seaon.

Rated this kid when we drafted him due to his speed and run.. Obv his disposal isnt the greatest but i think he just needs to slow down and compose himself instead of trying to kick the leather off the ball.. We are crying out for his type in midfield and im really interested to see how he goes today.
