[/quote]I reckon its a pretty good idea to be honest. I am a massive advocate for getting some Melbourne Storm boys to training to give us some tackeling advice. I admit I had not thaught of American Football tactics as an option but it doesnt sound too bad at all. IMHO would be a great cross promot...

If you want to get up to level 3, you can get disabled parking under the dome (if appropriate) there is also an elevator to level 3. I used to take my dad that way in the last months of his life.

Thats right lets trade a tall forward who is 25 and just about ready to hit the prime of his footballing life for either a pick or two in a draft that will put you back to where kosi was in 2001 or a few recycled hacks from other clubs.

Welcome howlinwolf, this place can get a bit feral at times (this week has been disgraceful!) But your passion and enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air. I think us older fans who sat through years and years of bottom two finishes are more tolerant of the bad days and look forward to the good days. An...

sh1t I'm glad this forum wasn't around in the late 80's, early 90's otherwise we would have been reading threads about trading Harvey, Loewe, Burke, Winmar. What a disgrace, we have turned into the Richmond football club supporter base overnight. What makes anyone think that by trading our top playe...

Ross Lyon was an ordinary player who played in even more ordinary sides that hardly ever won.
Ross Lyon was far from an ordinary player, in fact he was a very good player and the Fitzroy side he played in came within an inch from playing in a grand final

No - I agree with the OP - good is good - exceptional is exceptional - you need to not only give all you have (that is good) you need to go beyond to be exceptional. We should be expecting exceptional - and at the worst settle for good - the kind of good we get from Lenny and Ball! So Ball and Lenn...

Tony Lockett. We didn't want to trade him, but the AFL made every effort to ensure that we did. This is complete crap. Lockett wanted to go to Sydney to get away from all the garbage that was surrounding him in Melbourne (including the greyhound breeding scandal he was involved in). Collingwood als...

I watched Gram quite a bit on Saturday night, he is beyond soft, I'm not sure if the replay shows it clearly but there were a few times when the ball was bouncing free across half back with Gram coming from one side and a richmond player coming in the opposite direction, Gram actually slowed down to...

I do agree with with your OP Eastern to a certain degree, we don't protect the tagged players enough. I don't understand a game plan that dictates that when we have the ball we stand like statues and wait until someone is on their own, even if it means going sideways, backwards or three rows into the crowd and when we don't have it we just fall back into defensive 50 and wait for the opposition to t...

the size or weight of a guy has nothing to do with the ability to lay a decent tackle. Trevor Barker was built like a match stick but was the best tacker i have ever seen. Tackling is about attitude and intent. Gram does not want to tackle he is not interested in doing the hard things.

Brown,
He's the only one of the three that can genuinly win a footy game off his own boot. He is intimidating and the most dominant forward in the game at the moment
Judd is a freak but midfielders aren't any where near as valuable as a brilliant power forward.

However looking at the big picture we have only won 8 out of 26 final quarters under RL with points for being 498 and against being 642. We are the fade outs. This is the most telling stat. The fade outs are simply the result of a game plan that requires 80% of the team to run up and down the lengt...
