Re: Leigh Fisher
Just like Eddie commentating Pies games or Luke Darcy commentating Dogs games, an ex player shouldn’t umpire a game involving his old team due to the clear favouritism for them, perceived or actual. Just like home umpires don’t officiate in Test matches anymore, it removes the potential for any iss...

Re: Free Kick Differential 2021
Maybe the umps are just trying to even the ledger as historically we’ve been a very looked after team? Don't you ever criticize Curly....of course we are consistently on the wrong side of the ledger (not always) when it comes to umpires and Dogs have been historically on the right side. You are bli...

One thing I’ve noticed is that the players look up at the goal posts I never even looked at the goal posts when kicking at goal. Looking at two objects IMO makes it hard for the brain to figure out where to actually aim Same with golf. I never just aim down the middle of the fairway, I stand behind...

Never seen a crowd member get a kick against StK Get your hand off it BM I used to read your threads above others but somehow your ego has gone way ahead of the person and now you think your knowledge is way ahead of all the other simpletons on here (not you Saynta) but truth is you're fast ...

I'm still pssed with recruiting Howard 2nd round in talented draft year when we could have taken him 126th. That was about the dumbest choice ever - up there with Frost

I think everyone understands the game is not easy to umpire..
All everyone wants is consistency....why do the bulldogs consistently get the rub of the green and st kilda do not?

Agree Saynta, Billings has been playing injured, unfortunately not all supporters are understanding because if you play you are considered fit. Billings when fit is consistently one of our better players.

I love their killer instinct...lets play lazy football and chip it around. Good sides don't do this and it becomes culture very quickly

An envy filled discussion that achieves nothing. The Dogs deserve the position they are in and I'm guessing most fair minded sports lovers and Saints supporters would wish them well. We possibly gifted them another flag the day we let Josh Bruce walk to them. I really like Josh Bruce and was sad to...

The only positive from a very dreadful night IMHFO. That loss ranks with the worst ever. also IMHFO. The following have to be up there: - *Hawthorn defeated St. Kilda, 63 point deficit – Round 12, 1999 The Saints kicked nine goals to one in the opening term, before leading by as much as 63 points f...

Our midfield for example..how many of them would be selected in top sides and who would they be.
This is where the problem lies. Nice guys but average players, do not make things happen. Too many players we do not get excited by when they have ball in hand

Too easily pushed off/blocked/held
He must continually lead to break up the pack..if he drags opponents with him then that is good for us in creating other options
