We desperately need the pace and run in our side.

BJ isn't the most pacy or agile player, so IMO we can't drop a runner for him.


Koschitzke, Raph, Fiora, Blake and Gilbert are all in line to be dropped.

Round 3 - vs. Western Bulldogs who were on fire today and are full of confidence and enthusiasm after winning their first two. Looked terrific against Melbourne. Round 4 - vs. Geelong ... enough said. Round 5 - vs. Essendon who are the form team of the comp. We always seem to play them at the worst ...

Poorly structured ... not happy at all with how RL coached in the first quarter.

Needed to push Riewoldt a lot further up the ground and give Kosi more space.

Thought Hayes' work around the packs was sensational, and he really provided the example to the others in the midfield.

His tackling and pressure were great and he worked tirelessly driving us forward.

Got a fair bit of it .... a few mistakes ...

Yep.

I almost smashed my TV in the first quarter.

Carlton kicked 3.2 out of 4.4. at quarter time from free kicks, and the ones against Blake and Hudghton were two of the worst decisions I (and Wallsy) have seen.

Thought Gardiner was outstanding.

5 hitouts to advantage in the second quarter and was absolutely dominant. Looked strong and fit running around the ground and was making more contests than a few weeks ago.

Finished with 12 disposals, 8 marks and 20 hitouts.

Finished up having a good game. Certainly some great defensive work and good running.

The good thing is we won with Riewoldt, Kosi, Dal Santo and Harvey being fairly quiet.

We didn't rely on those "stars"

Yep, Fiora played a good game and bobbed up consistently through the match.

M. Gardiner was brilliant. His second quarter was just dominant ... 5 hitouts to advantage, 4 marks and 6 kicks.


Milne sensational too ... could have kicked 6.
