i think any team or coach would take fev.

the issue as always is how you get him and what you have to give up.

but i dont think his ability as a player is questioned.

he's there for a reason all right....with him and schneider added to the team we have effectively 13 players to rotate through the midfioeld........ross is going to serve it right up to the dorks..... oh those dorks will be so scared having to face fiora and schneider. im sure they are losing sleep.

he has some positive attributes that others lack ie. the long probing kick. he has been made to look worse because ppl haven't run onto his kicks. i'm not his mate, but anyone who bags him clearly has no idea. im bagging him. i must have no idea. u think another club would pick him if we trade or d...

totally con. i'd have jonesy in the back half and he would screw cyril like a rat. although having said all that if it is insisted that gilbo goes with rioli he has to man up i mean FFS! *grrr* run with the little cornholer dont stand there and expect him to feed the ball to you. rioli is their weakest link in the forward line. he's small, he's not as quick as leon and he doesn't have a lot of poke but he fits through holes and squirms kicks through. gilbo is our weakest link across the back. he runs like a bit of a girl and is a bit unco. so what are we persisting with him...

Thoughts? !!
Max on Willow ( Willow can be very dangerous if you dont cover him)
Gilbert on Buddy (time to put the onus on Gilbert)
Sam on Roughhead (counter attack run)

Gilbo on Buddy. Gilbo is 22 and 194 cm.

what are we protecting him from? why we treating Gilbo like a baby?

Rioli is 18 FFS. If we are worried about him we are in big trouble. i mean hes a good young talent for sure. but sheesh. are we a serious team or not?

The AFL don't deny that people think tanking exists - they deny that teams try and lose. I agree with them. u are flaming kidding me? talk about semantics and weazle words. firstly the afl rejects tanking outright - look at the quotes from the past. they say talk of tanking is rubbish and "off...

So, what you're saying is that if we lose the next few and cannot make the 8, we still keep pushing, or do we plan for next year? If you are in a position to know early in the year that you won't make it, or that your list is crap, why not plan ahead? The pressure comes when u have clubs like Richm...

ok sing along to the tune of "the heat is on" http://news.realfooty.com.au/sport/west-coast-pair-in-need-of-surgery-20080716-3g91.html Seriously Demetriou and Adrian Anderson are the only 2 goons left on the planet that don’t believe in tanking. Call it whatever you like. But teams tank....

About the least worried section of the club is the forward line at the moment. Coming through as Fwd's or options as forwards, McEvoy, Kosi, Allen, Schneider, Goddard, Stevens ect ect Would be more worried about the Backline and then the midfield before the forward line. i hope that list is a joke?...

Roughhead and Buddy have 120 goals between them so far this year.

Roo and Kosi only have 51.

So outside die-hard Saints fans I dont think anyone would agree that Kosi and Roo are better than Buddy and Roughhead.

Forward for Saints 09

Given the Fergus Watts debacle. I know I should not be bringing it up again. But whare do the saints stand on a new key forward now G train is finished? I am concerned about our lack of goal power. Milney & Riewoldt are our only goal kickers. Look at what Aker and Scotty Welsh have bought for th...

And? The results? Can anyone play at FF?? Or should we be looking for a trade?? I have ...

[ Indeed. I'm suprised noone has worked him over yet. He needs to be tackled particularly ferociously and have that shoulder tested just like everyone was doing with Roo. Maybe the bugger is to quick to catch!! But I hope we make sure he hits the deck a few times on Saturday - hard. Very hard. easi...

i still reckon we put gilbert on him. time to fast track gilberts development. we cant just sit back while his development as a key player stalls because of "form". player development is pro-active. cmon guys. show some balls and initiative. hes 22 FFS. hes not a kid anymore.
