Well done Gardy you rucked with one arm last night.

Post: # 981939Post saintkid »

SEN had reported last night on way home that Gardy had dislocated his elbow so watched the replay carefully this morning. The guy rucked all of the last quarter using just his right arm. What a super effort and what a pickup he has been for us.
I hope he has not done any serious damage to his left elbow as he is SO important for us with his marking and presence around ground.

Wow that's inspirational!

I already respect Gardi enormously for how he has turned himself around off the field, and for what he has accomplished for us on the field despite missing so much footy.
He not only is great in the ruck but he contributes around the ground.
And is a more than handy forward - as per him sneaking up the members flank in the opening minutes to emerge deep in the forward line to kick the opening goal.

But now I respect him even more.

If true makes the week off even more valuable. To win the flag Gardi has to be in our side, nothing against Patto and King but Gardi just has the little bit of spark about him and can win a game largely off his own boot.

Seeing as he was able to play out the game should be able to get up for the prelim!

I love the way he plays. One of the few classy ruckmen playing. I had my eyes on him in the last quarter and he was using his right arm all the time. Super effort and we are all praying here it's not serious.

True you don't notice. I was watching him closely on the replay because of what they said and was in even more awe of the guy. We need him fit and firing if we get in the GF against the filth or the pussies (the dockers don't stand a chance against them next week and the filth have tonight's game under control).

Write off the Dockers at your own peril.

More than willing too.

They'll lose by over 60,and if Geelong decide to keep at it for 4 quarters it will be closer to 100,but I'd expect the cats to take the foot off in the last

fair enough, but they're the side i'd feel most confident about playing of those that are left. we've beaten them the last six including three at subi. by the time we could possibly play them, they would be playing their third game in three weeks in melbourne. i reckon it's pretty hard to do that unless you're a great side, which they're not - yet.

Not suggesting that they will get all the way through to the big one, but I think that with players of the calibre of Pavlich Sandilands and then Hill Mcpharlin Mundy etc... they will definitely not be giving Geelong an easy time.

What's these last few posts on the Dockers got to do with this thread on Michael Gardiner? :?

Awesome effort by MG. He's tough and quality. Perfect Septembrian!

As for Freo...APPALLING disposal in to their fwd 50. As much as I'd like to see them trounce the Pussy sooky la las, the fact is they'll get shredded on the rebound by Geelong.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

natural course of the conversation kiddo.

spend more time posting in the thread rather than about it.
