Golly it drives me blo.dy crazy!
I do get absolutely frustrated trying to read different view points about footy topics. Living in NSW, I do miss the friendly banter etc. at the local over a few quiet ones.
So, I venture to this site to hear (read) the opinions of others. From time to time I respond, sometimes others may agree, other times they may not.
No real problem there!
What I damn well hate though is those who perpetuate a difference of opinion and the "one up-man-ship" through a thread and hijack the enjoyment of others.
If you are one of those who "highlight" others comments and post it before adding your comments, for whatever blo.dy reason, could I suggest ...........
Give it a rest!
And if you are one who replies within one minute of another posters new topic - GO FOR A WALK AND THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU TYPE.
Have a nice day and Go Saints!

Was there on the outer wing as a youngster flying the flag in '66 - still loyal, still passionate!

I understand where the OP is coming from. There really is no point in quoting a quote, of a quote, that quotes a quote, until a whole page is taken up.
It does infuriate me to see threads taken up by completely meaningless quotes.
I will not quote unless absolutely necessary for the context. I then get abused for not quoting. Then again I get abused a lot.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell
