Interesting from Ross - I do enjoy his ability to pin poin the issues clinically.

The fact he wants them going away tonight and doing that extra work tells you the loss burns a little more than he showed. So it should - was pathetic and he called the first half that...

He didnt shy away from saying the Collingwood loss and that we also "got lucky" last week either........

.ST KILDA was playing like a team unworthy of a spot in the top four and would be wasting its time in the finals if it was to continue with its weak form, coach Ross Lyon said after last night's match.

Lyon said his team risked limping into September after Essendon easily accounted for the Saints.

It was St Kilda's third straight loss to the Bombers and Lyon admitted it was his side that looked like the 14th team and Essendon the top-four team.

The one thing I really like about RL is he never sugar-coats it. We were crap last night, and he said just that.

To me RL has always been honest- even though many media didn't / don't see it.

even last year when we won the 19 in a row he honestly said some were lucky...... but win's give confidence

my other thought-- the Win over Geelong.........has the psycholigist/or any other confidant group or individual reminded them that it was only rd 13.........some very small part in some minds thinking it's already been done and not yet to come...

They need to go home with some things in their head that we need to fix and fix quickly.

Lack of run and support from team-mates, attacking and defending, stood out like the dog's proverbials last night. Just like the Collingwood game.

listening to ross makes me feel a little bit better, they seem to know whats going wrong, now they need to implement changes that will improve our contested ball, tackling, running of the ball and create a functioning forward line.

Will come along next sunday and shout my lungs out. I expect the boys to give 100%.... anything else is pathetic!
