We could win next 4 games

Post: # 1811316Post tedtheodorelogan2018 »

Decent chance.

It probably won't happen but we are a decent chance at winning every game.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Good post.

We could win all of our games.

We probably won’t... but we definitely could win all four games.

One game at a time Ted.

Although, I think we will match up well next week. Last time we played the Crows we were a key position defender down.

Dumb question but can we still make the 8 if we do?

It would be nice but we can't make finals so draft position is probably a better result .
It would be great if we could beat the swine as its been years since we did that

Yes, but with our miserable percentage I'm not sure which scenario would get us there...we'd need to have a game up on 9th.

It’s possible... we’re reliant on Adelaide, Port and Hawthorn dropping games though and they have some tough ones.

If we beat Adelaide and Freo in particular then it becomes a distinct possibility

So if we made finals and won the first one does that mean Richo would get his job back

If we win our next 2 games and other results fall out way, we could be in the top 8 by the end of round 21.

Gosh I hope not.

Settle there hombre - Adelaide have lost four out of their last five games, and they are notorious flat-track bullies (their sole win during this time was a 100 point win over the Suns).
We're playing the Crows over there and I expect our bubble to well and truly burst. They could beat us by 100 points too.

be very surprised and very disappointed if the crows don't struggle to beat us. they are well out of form and crumble to pressure.

Pbly correct.

The flip side is that a win in Adelaide would almost deliver the coaching position to Ratten and it would announce to the world that we’re here to play.
Free agents might actually start looking at us as a club on the up and up again.

I did the AFL predictor last night and guess what: I had us winning all our games (just to see what could happen) and picked who I think would be favourites in all the other games and guess what: we finish 8th 2 games clear of 9th!!! So we even have some wriggle room! I hope everyone at the club understands this

Hope you're right, but St Kilda usually play to the script. We only usually win those type of games when we have very, very strong sides with extremely good players in our reasonably successful eras, not when we have about ten players with less than 25 games experience and several players who look like they are still finding match conditioning.
I think this week will be the week that the Crows are told by their president that they WILL win this week and that they MUST win this week - like a line in the sand game for them. Playing us over there gives them a chance of an easy kill. And let's be totally honest - we never have any luck over there, haven't for years and we usually meekly surrender.
Hope I'm wrong, but I think, sadly, that I'll probably be very, very right.

did it myself - then gave crows the win - they still finished a game below us with the rest of the pack.
it's in the realm of possibilty.
had us then beating the cats at the g, upsetting the giants in spotless, and somehow downing the eagles in perth before a famous hard fought flag over the tigers.
yes?

We could. But we had a bigger win over the dees in round 4 and the next week lost to the crows at Marvel, so let's not get too excited.

We’ve never won at Adelaide Oval and haven't beaten them since 2011.

It will take a miracle for Adelaide to turn around their form in the space of one week. They are horrible & Pyke is standing on the edge of the plank.

Despite the last two wins we are no better than them. A bit of confidence will help us.

Difficult game to predict, both teams are around the same level. Home ground will help the Crows.

A fit & firing Jack Steven could very well be the difference.

Beating Sydney in Sydney in the final match of the season to secure 8th would be very nice.

Perfect time to notch up our first win at Adelaide Oval.
