The Flux Report: Wall of Voodoo Round

Post: # 1799256Post AeonFlux »

.

This week's analysis Committee:
- Catherine. (Has resigned herself to what’s happening. Still brought takeaway. Back to the chunky custard. Mmmmmmmm.)
- Aaron. (Back, for the chunky custard.)
- Saxons. (RosKilda’s favourite poster/s. And he'd never go to Shanghai, but he’d go to Townsville. Coal mining country!)
- king9. (Girl power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!)
- toni1975 (tony1975’s hot little sis’. More girl power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!)
- Owen.
- BFTNorway - Simon the Troll Hunter.

Missing: :(
- BornAgainNorwegianTed12. (Nabbed by the Troll Hunter! During his incarceration, Ted was buoyed by our gutsy fighting away win against the might of the reigning premiers. We didn’t have the heart to tell him.....wrong Coast. :(
Ted is still everyone’s favourite Norwegian internet troll and emerging young fiction writer though. :) )
Norwegiantedtheodorelogan12 wrote: Sat 18 May 2019 5:43pm I'm a troll.
- Parquetrysainter. (Still just like Ted).
- He'sHighMan. (Just like Ted, he and his fellow TRUE DECEIVERS, are still seemingly high over Saturday’s result. And a special kudos too, for really stepping up to the plate during Ted’s incarceration. The Analysis Committee has really enjoyed your work. :D )
- Rodger. <swoon> Come back Rodger! We can get Kinky for you too.
- Vaas Montenegro. (Has completed the AFL’s Behavioural Awareness training – by correspondence. But has decided that’s not for him. The ‘overkill’ component was very appealing though. The word is that Vaas really liked Linton Lodger’s suggestion. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98453#p1797985
So we have given Vaas a free hand. Gil will also soon have a free hand too.
Vaas is currently busy shopping for pliers, gaffer tape, postage packs and stamps. AFL, you’re about to get mail. Gil, you’re about to be mail. )
- Linton Lodger. (Also incarcerated. Home detention. However, is using the time wisely. Helping Vaas with ‘community development’. )
- Mr Cuddly Duck. (Should be posting back here, not posting over on Big Flotsam. Come home Huggie.)
- Sainter K. (Where are you?)
- Jaffa Boy/Straw Man/Concern Troll. (Fighting with himself/himselves. )

- Julian viewtopic.php?f=2&t=98468

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D88dQaGXUAA0A_y.jpg

- Loris. (Come back Loris! We’ve brought Kinky back for you. And here’s another one for you. Btw, how are you progressing with the ‘Kinky Friedman Crime Club’? Can confirm that the ‘Greenwich Village Killer’ was also not the butler. And neither was the ‘When The Cat’s Away’ murderer. However, if you take the closest option..........)
Kinky Friedman wrote:I thought how women sometimes came into our lives and left again like sleek nameless jets equipped with heat seeking missiles and all the latest feminine radar, landing on the decks of a creaky and battle-scarred old aircraft carrier alone in the middle of a deep and troubled sea. Assessment:
Norwegiantedtheodorelogan12 wrote: Sat 18 May 2019 4:02pm We're a pretty decent side when you disregard the efficiency and disposal up forward.

This is pretty cool of the teacher. :)

Though it’s a bit worrying that this was also <the definitive article deleted by Mods> Cho’s pre-match address to the players before the game. Kinda’ explains that first half.
BarryGrogan wrote: Sat 15 Jun 2019 4:32pmBeen digging around to see how long people have been bagging the 'bomb it in' thing, and found this thread!

Reading this, not a single thing has changed in 2 years from the coaches box!

According to the OP, we averaged 98 Points For when we beat GWS over 2 years ago - then once the 'bomb it in' yhing was worked out by the opposition - we averaged 60 odd!! Sound familiar!!!
He'sHighMan wrote: Sat 15 Jun 2019 7:47pmTo me it's pure coaching genius. WOW!
Disagree. These are stats that don’t lie.......... they lose.

Time to go Cho!
Kinky Friedman wrote:We can spare you.

Also concerning is the leaky ship that's being run at Moorabbin.

We want to know how did the US President obtain a copy of <the definitive article deleted by Mods> Cho’s game plan!!!???!!! (Probably got it from Putin.)

And one page? More like one sentence............. ‘bomb it to them!’ :x

Understandably, talk of bombing ‘them’ both excited and confused The President. Though, when St Kilda next plays Mexico, then Mexico will be the ‘them’ that we bomb it to.

Banning of the week(?):
silverhalo wrote: Sat 15 Jun 2019 4:05pmThe cho must go!

<1 week ban for using a banned and an offensive term in reference to the club’s chances of success>
We think that this post was misunderstood.

Anyway, enjoy some tricks from Trinity. :)

For the TRUE DECEIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
viewtopic.php?f=29&t=98492 The new Hole in the Ted gang???

Strangely, some think that 6 & 6 is a good thing. :? Yes, a win is better than a loss. Yes we have won more games already than we did for all of last season. (Not that that’s setting the bar very high.)

But the reality. Regardless of injuries. Given our forward 50 and shots on goal numbers, we could be/ bloody well should actually be 10 & 2! (We were even a chance to steal the E-Girliess game too.) And then, with some top players to return..........................

That would equate to a bloody genuine shot at this bloody year’s bloody flag. And with still no great standout side to contend with. :( :x

Another chance to contest for a flag being squandered. A genuine True Believer could not possibly be happy with that!!!

But because six years into <the definite article deleted by Mods> Cho’s tenure, and despite the arrival of Brett the Messiah Ratten, we still love to bomb it to the waiting opposition defenders.......... we are not a contender. Again. A half decent choaching and game plan, and regardless of the injury count, we’d be 10 & 2 now, and challenging for a very gettable flag.

Oh well. That’s the rejoicing in mediocrity attitude that snags you one flag every 140-odd years or so. Carry on. :(

Now there’s our real True Believer. True. Realistic. :(

I cheered the win and couldn't help but barrack for our boys as we mounted the comeback in the second and third quarters, but you just can't see this current coaching outfit ever achieving anything resembling greatness.

The best we can hope for is wins against the bottom 4 teams, regardless of our injuries and coming up against teams out of confidence and out of form

Our players deserve more.

JR23 wrote: Tue 11 Jun 2019 5:18pm Great news. Since he was sacked we are seeing a revitalised Roos. Playing as team and with freedom. He has been holding them back for last few years. Has too many favourite players based on perceived endeavour but largely lack necessary skills. Been a poor developer of talent in recent years as well.
sorry - just to be clear
who are we talking about here?
Know this is referring to Brad Kray, but, the parallels..........

Stuff to like:
Joffa Burns wrote: Tue 11 Jun 2019 3:38pm Saints Coaching Job spent the weekend at the Sheraton Mirage on GC, and was specifically asked about links or interest in Brad Kray should it become available at end of season.

Direct response was a big NO, no discussion or contact and no interest.
(Whew!)

- Paddy didn't get concussed again. (We think.............?)
- Joe King's knee survived. (Whew!)
- We played Gold Coast on Saturday.
saynta wrote:W^^w!

Stuff to not like:
- We played Gold Coast on Saturday. And on that performance, they're the only team we'd have won against. :(
- Why Paddy didn't (and can't) get concussed again.
saynta wrote:F^^k & f^^k. :(

Stuff to ponder/ what does that even mean??? :? :
Pelicans??? :?

List management 101.1:
Step 1 – Identify the players who are or will be top liners, who make us a better team even when we’re struggling, and would get a game at any club. (That won’t take long.) Top liners can however also be good role players - but they have to be damn good at playing that role!!!!
(Not in any order.)
Carlisle
Billings
Steven
Gresham
BAcres
Steele
Hanners
Joe King
The Gypsy (Roma)
Battle
Brown
Bytel
Members
Bruce (Watch him star if Joe King’s knee holds up.)
Phillips
Langlands
saynta wrote:F^^k yeah!
White
Paton
Clavarino
Wilkie
Gears (Plays on the opposition’s danger small forward. Always have someone running past for a handball receive so he doesn’t have to kick the bloody thing. )
Lazar.

Step 2- Identify the players who whilst not making us a better team, would be much better players in a strong team. The ‘best’ of these we keep.
Ross
Clark
Savage
Long
Sinclair
Mackenzie
Parker
Lonie
Dunstan

Jury is out:
Mayo
Alabakis
Marsh
Hind
Joyce
Rice. (Wasted playing forward! Performs Geary’s lock down roll. Also needs to be tried in the middle. Really hope this bloke can make it. Tough, and a wonderful kick.)
Kent
Austin
Coffield

Jury says, is out:
Paddy
Billy
Robbo’
Armo’
Cho’
Youngo’
Newnes.
Rowe
Pierce (Though he or Rowe may be given a 1 year extension as rucking back up.)

We have two trading periods (regardless of stoooopid contract extensions) to make them.....goneski!!!!!!!! (Cue Lazar and his Saudi embassy mates. ) This is very doable. Despite past mistakes, we can now finally have confidence in our recruiters under Chris Libratore and Mr T.

Next week at The Free Linton Lodger! Stadium:
INS:
Options we're considering/not considering.................
- Snowy.
- Jimmy the cat Webster. (If fit.)
- Paton.
- C West. (Recently back on our List, Manager-ing to re-register. Has standout prior form. Goes in hard, then runs away hard. The Nexus between inside grunt and outside carry(on). One problem. Only plays at the City end of the ground.)
- Langlands. (We still hear ya Saynta. :) )
saynta wrote:F^^k yeah!
- Hanners’. Stuff it, we’ve waited long enough!

OUTski:
- Newnes. Stuff it, we’ve waited long enough!
- White. Injured.
- Marsh. Unlucky.
- Sinclair. Has been lucky.
- Armo’. Sorry Armo’. Sorry Liz. :(

Stiff as a badger’s ass (whatever that means? :? ):
Any of the 'ins' who end up missing out. Especially if at the expense of any of the 'outskis'. (Marsh excepted here, as he'd be an unlucky outski.)

Update:
The word is that C West will not be in this week's team, having just been de-registered. (Something about betting on Jayden Stephenson.....?)

Wall of Voodoo Round:
We’re not sure about the purported new sponsors viewtopic.php?f=1&t=98495#p1798378 , but for those TRUE DECEIVERS who still think that all is fine and rosy, and right on track, and still think that we should be thankful for how our season has gone to date – here’s the anthem for you.......sing along........you know that you know the words.

Thoughts, Rodger? <swoon>

Thoughts, TRUE DECEIVERS?

Thoughts, Saintsationalists?
