According to the OP, we averaged 98 Points For when we beat GWS over 2 years ago - then once the 'bomb it in' yhing was worked out by the opposition - we averaged 60 odd!! Sound familiar!!!

Strangely, some think that 6 & 6 is a good thing. Yes, a win is better than a loss. Yes we have won more games already than we did for all of last season. (Not that that’s setting the bar very high.)

But the reality. Regardless of injuries. Given our forward 50 and shots on goal numbers, we could be/ bloody well should actually be 10 & 2! (We were even a chance to steal the E-Girliess game too.) And then, with some top players to return..........................

That would equate to a bloody genuine shot at this bloody year’s bloody flag. And with still no great standout side to contend with.

Another chance to contest for a flag being squandered. A genuine True Believer could not possibly be happy with that!!!

But because six years into <the definite article deleted by Mods> Cho’s tenure, and despite the arrival of Brett the Messiah Ratten, we still love to bomb it to the waiting opposition defenders.......... we are not a contender. Again. A half decent choaching and game plan, and regardless of the injury count, we’d be 10 & 2 now, and challenging for a very gettable flag.

Oh well. That’s the rejoicing in mediocrity attitude that snags you one flag every 140-odd years or so. Carry on.

Some of the best comedy gold from the usual sycophants. I cheered the win and couldn't help but barrack for our boys as we mounted the comeback in the second and third quarters, but you just can't see this current coaching outfit ever achieving anything resembling greatness.

The best we can hope for is wins against the bottom 4 teams, regardless of our injuries and coming up against teams out of confidence and out of form

Our players deserve more.

Great news. Since he was sacked we are seeing a revitalised Roos. Playing as team and with freedom. He has been holding them back for last few years. Has too many favourite players based on perceived endeavour but largely lack necessary skills. Been a poor developer of talent in recent years as well.
