Get used to the fact that Richo won’t be St Kilda coach in 2020.

Who cares. We won. 7 changes and to a team that was already incredibly inexperienced and decimated by unjury.

It was ugly and it took a while for them to get going but to win the way they did is just inspiring.

It’s always good to win but that was not an inspiring win.

If you're looking for a farce, Princes Park is the place to go. I'm sure you'll see the very heights of farcical, in the Offices of Mssrs Lo Giudice, Silvagni and Judd.

Yeah, hopefully the injury list will shrink and we start kicking for goal straight. That may do it.

Or a new coach with half a game plan might do it too.
A game plan where more than 10 goals can be achieved regularly

Like you can change a gameplan mid-season. Only Geelong, Collingwood and GWS are regularly kicking more than 10 goals this season. We'll get an extra 2 goals a game when Lonie returns. When Carlisle returns, he or Battle can be the third tall forward our structure needs.

You’re right. He brought in the rubbish game plan at the seat of the year (and previous 2 years), so clearly beyond him to change it!

Eddie Betts and Milney averaged 2 goals a game.....but sure, whatever floats ya boat.
A few decent games from Lonie before he got injured, long term still very suspect as referenced by the preceding 4 years...

I'm not saying Lonie will kick 2 a game. He'll kick about 1 and create more by his defensive pressure, connection to the mids and clever use by foot.

Clever by foot??
He turns it over by foot with the best of them.
Too many players who turn it over have been in the team for far too long.

How many easy set shots did he burn before getting injured too?? Kicking 1.3 every game is not acceptable.

As soon as we find players who can hit a target the current lot are gonski

How long we been saying “we need to be better kicking for goal”.....I mean it’s beyond a joke
We know for all of Richardson’s reign we’ve been deplorable at bringing the ball into fwd 50 effectively - yes we get lots of entries...for lots of bombing rebounds and junk going in.....

The system isn’t right imo hasn’t been for a very long time and after 6 years it’s time

I’ve said it in the past and sadly it’s where we’ve ended up......treading water, mid table side.....not quite as bad as Carlton smidge better than Suns but not really making anyone in the 8 panic...

Yep. I did. Also watched the previous 3 years and he couldn’t get a game in a struggling side.
Definitely improved back end of 2018 and before he got injured but........still turns it over and misses simple set shots from 30m out.

How good is your memory Saynta?

I remember a poster on the very original Saints forum in 1996 - 1997 called EMT.

A few posters thought EMT was female but it was actually a guy.

Do you recall this poster?

Yep. I do. Glass have full, glass half empty. EMT, opposite of Full. It was how I felt at the time.

I think a lot of saints supporters had an empty feeling after the grannie lost to the crows in 1997.

Expectations were high, we were the favorites and the mongrels won.

Your point?
