Jon Patton any interest?

Post: # 1795061Post saintfox »

With the ongoing speculation around paddy would/could we make a move for Jon Patton from GWS? Could come cheap. If We Can sort out our forward structure then we’re well on our way to finals again.

We have targeted him before. He is gettable but a bit injury prone. We have Max King too. GWS might want to offload cap space. They now have Cameron and Finlayson as genuine goal kicking forwards.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Respectfully - No ...former high draft pick with a high price tag. injury prone as all hell.

Battle, Marshall, Bruce and Membrey right now

Max King, Jack Mayo in the wings.

please please Saints - get us some midfield class.

Whilst I love them as Saints, we will never be much chop with Seb, Newnes, Dunstan as our best prime movers.

X1000

Absolutely no need. We need mids, mids and more mids.
Forwards and Backs we're covered.

Genuine midfielders ( not HBF we want to convert), with speed and kicking ability, and rucks, who can actually ruck, our main concern now.

Plenty of GWS 'stars' have gone to other clubs and have been middling. Back in Winx, use the cash on some mids.

The club at the bottom of the ladder we beat by 7 points sealing the game in the last few minutes when they were 2 players down?

Did you watch that game? Are you confusing it with another game?
Stolen in the last few minutes?
7 points?

Beating Carlton is nothing to write home about, but stick to the facts.

I didn't say we stole the game... i said we sealed it in the last few minutes. They were right in it until the 17min mark when Parker goaled

My apologies with the 7 points though, i did the math backwards when i glanced at it this morning. We were up by 5 points when Parker goaled and we kicked two behinds after

Had to rely on a dubious free to Parker in the dying minutes to seal the win. Prior to that, there was less than a kick in it. If we were on receiving end, we'd be petition the club to take AFL House to court on the basis of an umpiring conspiracy against the club.

I'll take the win, but I'm not going to be a hypocrite either.

Until we have an administration that demands success and a playing group that bleeds for the guernsey, St. Kilda will just be a sh*tty football club.
