That's really bad news.
I feel for him and hope he can get closure and peace.

Footy can wait, this is important stuff.

Get well soon, Jack. Footy can wait.

Look forward to having you back fit and firing and in a good mental space at some point in the future.

OK, so being serious... Get well Jack. Whatever it takes.

Not so serious.... OH FFS now we are gonna lose to Gold Coast.

No one going to mention the elephant in the room?

Isn’t there a thread currently going on here about players declaring mental health problems?

Things are falling apart quickly. Our boon recruit out indefinitely with hamstring awareness which is code for, his hammy's are stuffed and there is continual residual pain. Carlisle has an injury that can't be resolved or identified. Our best player off with mental health issues which could mean 1 week or 6 weeks off (or longer)

Poor ole Richo can't take a trick in a year when he needs everything to go right

Better to take a few weeks now then go into the season under a cloud.
Good luck Jack.

Terrible news. The black dog is a bitch but can be controlled. Good to see that he is addressing it. Will come back a stronger person and footballer.

Wish him all the best and hope it isn’t the other reason players self report. Either way it appears a growing problem in the afl.
Wondering if we’ll have a full 22 in round one the way things are going.

Thanks for the info.
That sort of explains it.
At least it should only be short term.

Very sad news. Yeah that's gotta be very hard for the lad. He obviously suffers depression, which makes the situation even more difficult to deal with.

Backing you 100%, Jackie Boy!! Warm wishes and whatever it takes to get yourself feeling back on track.

Self and family ALWAYS comes first before footy. Its still just a game.

Before the fan base loses their s*** and panics, he will probably be back better than ever before this.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
