I hope the OP is correct.

And I fully agree that I think that our 2017 team will be better than our 2016 team. I think we have lost very little as Fisher was rately on the park but with our omproving youth now with more mature bodies and experience coupled with Carlisle, Freeman, Steele, Stevens and our new Full back that we should be a much better team on the park.

However countering this is that I fully expect 2017 to be the hardest year ever to make the 8. The top 4 I think is wide open, but just getting into the 8 will be a hard task indeed.

Despite being a better team better opponents will make winning more games more difficult.

The Hawks I thought would slide somewhat, but now that Roughie looks like playing again he will improve them as a team .

Nah, 2017 is 1928.
I thought 1959 was 1928?
Nope....2017 is 2004.
That doesnt sound right.

And what would that make 2016?
With only 12 hours of it remaining, I can say with certainty that 2016 has been 2016. And I'm almost as certain that 2017 will be 2017.
Well that's simply too outrageous to accept.
It's 2017 now (Happy New Year everyone) and yet it still feels a little like 2016.
