O'Meara says he is prepared to go in the draft (and go to Freo, Bombers or Blues). Under AFL Rules this means GC would get no compensation.
Saints then force a compromise and Suns demand EITHER Armo OR pick 8 but not both.
What do you do?

don't think you can

There is a limit on trading first round picks. However, we used a first round pick last year to get Gresham so we should still be able to trade this years first rounder.

The rules are that if you trade a future first round pick you can't trade any other picks from that draft. You also must use two first round picks in any four year period. Pretty sure neither of those scenarios applies to us.

Posters have shared that the club has made enquiries or met with players thats a long way from signed and sealed. If JOM can get his body right he would be a good fit for the club, but there is a good chance that will never occur. The little pieces we get from people like Tony74 and others on BF keep the sites interesting, so lets not shoot the messengers.

Murdoch is the only one in there of any potential future value.
