They'll be basking in the cash we should be getting from Tas, whilst basking in the leadership and talent of our player...

Well played North

Why dont you come to NZ, bask in the cash we DO get from them..while basking in Longer ripping his old team a newie in a stunning win by us??

That, however requires optimism and the glass perhaps being a teeny bit half full :-)

Is that untrue...

Just making the comments no one wants to hear or admit

Support is not about being stupidly ignorant to reality

'Support' is not in your vocabulary.
I have to hand it to you though, your last few weeks have been tremendous in the negative stakes, even by your extraordinarily high standards. It's actually become amusing such is the sheer persistant negative drone

BM, of course you don't have to agree with every decision the club makes, or like everything the club does.

But for God's sake man, you don't have to disagree with every decision the club makes, or hate everything the club does either!

Some people don't enjoy their jobs but keep at it because they need to make a living.

Some people don't like some of their relatives, but hey, they're family.

But supporting a sporting team is different. We are supporters because we support. That's what defines us.

Now sure some of us at times wear rose coloured glasses and see things a bit too optimistically. But that's a natural thing for a supporter (e.g. fan) to do.

And of course supporters should voice their concerns with decisions the club makes.

But a supporter who constantly, on a daily basis, can only find negatives in the team, is not a supporter.

Now that may only be my opinion, but I'm sure it's supported by every major Dictionary in the world.

BigMartyr should visit Hobart for the game.
He could also get a bit cultural and arty, and visit the famous
Museum of Old and New Art (MONA)
He would, of course, get free entry and free refreshments at MONA,
because he IS one  :o

MONA sounds brilliant. One the big reasons to visit Hobart from what I've heard.
