Draft Pick #2?
Dees look like beating the dogs!
That would put them just 1 game behind us.
It would be unlikely but if the dees finished above us that would likely give us pick 2 and guarantee one of Aish or Boyd!

Re: Draft Pick #2?
As long as we get a good one, as opposed to one that should have been good, that would be a turn up right there...
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
Just looked and melb will only win one more. It is actually damaging for our pick as the dogs lost. Although at least it might guarantee that melb won't get a priority pick.......hopefully.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
Prefer the dogs won which would haven locked us in at pick 3. Now we may well end up with pick 4.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
We will end up pick 4 or 5, quality player available there, to be honest, prefer to win a few more and have a better culture more positive group to bring new guys in. Lets be honest, Boyd looks awesome, but will most likely go 1, so not a chance for that. I just want to add 2 quality 200 game mids with our first 2 picks and hopefully secure M.Brown for Backline. Problem is, we need more then 1 gun draft pick, we need 6 guns.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
Pick up Brown for nothing as he is a free agent, gun midfielder with pick 3 or 4, and grab Frawley from the Dees because they know if they don't trade for him this year, he's walking next year

Re: Draft Pick #2?
I'd still be pretty happy with 4. I don't think there will be much of a difference.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
Pick 4 could be Sheed from WA. Midfielder. Had 29 touches and kicked 4 goals v vic metro. Clearly BOG. Also WA skipper.
Sounds pretty handy.
Plays for Subiaco in the WAFL.
Against TAS he had 32 touches and 8 clearances. Has been compared to Simon Black!

So had Adam Pattison. Someone said "he's not at all like Simon Black".PurpleHayes wrote:Has been compared to Simon Black!
Re: Draft Pick #2?
i actually watched the TAC games and the clear standout player from both games was Sheed!
He was very impressive, has pace, great skills and can kick goals, he is exactly the kind of player we need.
Aish wasn't that impressive but apparently is just back from injury.

Re: Draft Pick #2?
Im still trying to work out how we finish behind Melbourne this year. I think we are pretty certain to next year but I cant see how it is possible this year even though i think we can only win one more game.
Re: Draft Pick #2?
It is a possibilty if we don't win again. Gold Coast game is 1 we should have the best chance of winning.
Dees play GWS, WB and Suns still. if they manage to win 2 of those we will drop.
The most interesting part is WB and MELB play in the last round. Could we see a tank off?

As long as it's not Heath Black they meant. He was already pretty highly rated but that is some game

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
