Strange voting this week. Except for Armo and one of the two voters, neither coach thought Steven, Joey, Stanley or 2 of the 2 voters were good enough to get a voye from the other coach.

This is just my opinion but I don't think Geary and Steven would be rated outside our club and wouldn't attract much attention from oppo coaches, i.e. don't think Steve will ever have to worry about a tag becuase he just can't hurt the opposition when he has the pill. Geary is a worry also. I just wonder how many bad disposers of the ball can the new Saints carry. Got a feeling Pelchen and co are working on that.

Scott Watters could have given Cloke 4 as well. More likely than Shaw getting 4 IMO.

Doesn't that mean that one coach didn't even give McEvoy a vote? Strange really

I wouldn't have thought so? Armfield played across half-forward most of the game - Webster went to him for most of the third quarter after he came on.

Saint Totals

20 Riewoldt (4)
16 Steven (3)
15 Armitage (2)
11 McEvoy (3)
7 Geary (3)
5 Hayes (1)
3 Montagna (1), Stanley (1)
2 Fisher (1), Milera (1), Roberton(1)
1 Dal Santo (1)

Four of the top five are 23 or 24 years old, so that's a positive for the future I guess. Less positive is that the guy who's still by far our best player is 30 years old.

Presumably that top five would also be leading the B&F at this point? Joey and CJ maybe also thereabouts.
