Watters actually said Schneider was one of the smartest footballers he has dealt. Also said his was is great shape for season coming up and confident he will embrace the competition for spots. Spoke glowingly of what Minchington could be like by mid season. Saints will be very quick side going forward in both attack & defence.

Minchington following the path of Siposs.... both local Peninsula lads, bottom age, overlooked initially by Dandenong Stingrays... did enough in a few TAC games for a late pick by saints...

Really he is placed along side Murdoch and Wright as a 19 year old this season....
Will be very interesting to see how he goes

He was recruited as a small forward but they have hopes he will develop into a goal kicking midfielder!

No injury at all, has been fit for weeks and he's wanted to be out there but club holding him back and managing his workload.

7th or 8th possibly....watching the coach and listening to our ceo on sen has me in a more positive frame of mind about the coming season...not that i'm ever pessimistic about such things....

Saw Minchington twice last year before he got injured...

It was Obvious that he can can play, looked comfortable straight away at VFL level..... Very strong/Quick and highly silled young man...

He will probably make it.... Any Rookie that does is a good get....

I think he might follow in Milneys footsteps.... An unwanted yet talented small forward, overlooked because of physical size not ability

He brought up Minchington because the 360 crew started talking about our wealth of small forwards. Scotty basically said that he thought Minchington would be in that discussion soon (six months? A year? Can't remember).

I don't think I've seen him in any of the few Sandy games I've seen. The regular watchers seem to rate him though. Obviously Scotty does, because that genuinely was out of nowhere.

I don't agree he was being critical of Schneids though.
