Will we ever beat the Bombers again?

Post: # 1216920Post sainterinsydney »

Considering we couldn't beat the Bombers during our GF years, especially the year we almost went undefeated, and now they are a really good team, when do you foresee us beating the Bombers again? Hopefully before next century hahahha.

They made a pact, led by Mark McVeigh, to never lose to us again after we smashed them r22 2008. The bone was pointed in our direction after the utter embarrasment of that loss.

they look scary at the moment that's for sure.... yeh 2008 rd 22 % win that put us in the top 4. didn't know they made a pact... only reason we lost to them in the second game in 09 was due to poor kick by Roo.

Yeah remember well, about 28 points up late in the 1st quarter and shut up shop.
Spent next 3 quarters defending and just hung on!

Riewoldt and Goddard to live up to their reputations ,Clarke and Ray to defy theirs in 2012!

Said they made a pact young fella. Never said we hadn't beaten them. I once made a pact to never smoke again. It lasted 6 hours until I woke up in the morning.

It will all fall apart for the Bombers when they move to Tullamarine and the players revolt over the lack of nearby coffee shops!

Actually they may be okay cos there's a Hudson's at the Airport
