Seriously - on the provisio that his HEAD IS RIGHT - tell me why he would not be good for us (especially if he comes as a mature age rookie - i.e. cheap)

Absolutely nothing confirmed it was us. Though it is a fair assumption to think we could be this club.

Logically, it would be a contender or someone up there. Terry Wallace and Hutchy threw up some club names such as the dogs, saints and bombers.... though pure speculation.

Fevola also confirmed if he was to be picked up, it would be more than likely a rookie spot at the most.

I reckon it could be Melb?

Desperate for a forward, and probably won't get Clark?

Unlikely to be us

The article states the list manager was going back to discuss it with the coach....we don't have one...unless one is to be announced today

In all seriousness, I very much doubt it's us. We can't afford another stuff up which this is likely to become.

Not coming to St.Kilda.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

sounds like spin to me.

I don't think any club will want him, he's just beating a drum to get some interest.

the guy has had more chances than anyone, and it will be a sad indictment on the club's decline if this prat comes here :(

What's the worst thing that can happen...scandal, news headlines, or he pisses all over some of the other boys when they just want a photo of his wang....so what!! Been there done that...I suppose he might be ok early and help us win games, give Roo and Kozi a rest early in the year, get the fans coming through the turnstyles, get the memberships up, but then again...he might start getting a big head, he might do something stupid in public, revert to his old antics at the wrong time of year for us and derail a finals tilt...

On the other hand I'd be willing to give him a go if he continues to lose weight and is not a liability in our forwardline...that's probably a bigger risk than the risk of him getting drunk and causing trouble amongst the team. I think if he can get super fit, he's worth the risk. I can't see him doing that though and if he isn't working hard enough on the track, I can't see him retaining a spot in our team if we can make finals. He's too slow isn't he...this isn't the VFL...ok I'm talking myself out of this...NO WAY! We don't need him.

Risk aside, he's fat as.

Pointless.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
