A bizarre game
I don't reckon we had any of the top 5 players, our disposal was as good as it was against Richmond in round 2, we hit the post three times (what's new), and yet we had more shots and lost by 19 points. We never really looked like winning and Collingwood did seem to have an extra gear, but extra gears do tend to disappear when scoreboard pressure is applied, especially in the last quarter (GF1). The last two goals of the second quarter killed us.

Reminds me of our last match against Collingwood at the MCG in Round 11. End of the second quarter killed us off.perfectionist wrote:The last two goals of the second quarter killed us.

Seeing a trend? or were we "holding back"...for September??
