please keep this bumped until I get a chance to contact the club later.

I was just woken at 6.30am with a call on my mobile from a private number. The guy claimed he was from the UK (did have an accent) and wanted to know if I was the St Kilda Football Club.
Said he was from the fraud squad and something to do with a bank account and 1400 pounds ?????????

a few of will know me as i am the secretary of the Albury/wodonga supporter group, my contact details are widely available and i suspect this guy might be going through the website or something similar.

Gee I really needed to be awake this early :evil: as I have a 12 hour round trip planned tonight

Yeah the western saints get few of the scam emails from time to time thankfully I can spot the a mile off....

Our Club was called by a bloke claiming to be Tom Haffey , after trying to to wrangle a deal with our club we promptly told the guy to F off....





...............it really was Tom Haffey.
