Lets take it one week at a time..
Lets take it one week at a time..
Why???
I keep reading in threads formites "bagging" other forumites for wanting to talk about an issue beyond next week.
ie
* beating The Cats
*beating the Blues
* who tags Gablet etc...
While the players yes need to adopt that mantra...why should we?
This is a Forum...and by defintion exists to discuss all issues Saintly. Why should these be limited to issues only up to the next game???
Why shoulda forum be limited toa one week discussion cycle? answer is we should not.
If one does not want to talk about aspects beyond the next game...then just ignore the thread or post.
You can also bet that the coaching staff, while saying that they are just foccussing on next week....are also actively planning and plotting for the future..
ie Gwilt at HFF is more about trying to develop him intoa HF that will makea difference finals time, rtaher than his current ability there.

the issue is if the fans get too much ahead of themeselves and then the saints don't get anywhere in the finals or win the dam thing. how dissapointed will we be.bergsone wrote:IMO supporters can get ahead of themselves as much as they like,even if it is a bit stupid at times
As long as the coachs,players dont

hear hear. this is meant to be fun!
and as u said - im sure secretly the players and the coaches are lokoing ahead too (not in publict but in their private convos) - and why wouldnt they? they are humans not robots!
the one week at a time thing is just done so as not to give ammo to the opposition (oh look they dont rate us etc etc). so no coach or player wants to gift the opposition an easy motivation tool.
but of course the players are thinking ahead. and the coaches. and we need to be thinking ahead. cos players take time to learn/adapt etc etc.
so 2 eyes on this week. and your inner eye looking ahead!

Re: Lets take it one week at a time..
You are off topic...but feel free to start a thread on it if that is what you want to talk about.plugger66 wrote:

Meanwhile do you have anything to discus about the OP?
