I remember seeing him on the ground last week and was very worried, but he came back on a kicked a bunch of goals.

I don't really know the severity, but my guess is that even if its a relatively minor injury they may have thought it wasn't worth risking further damage if we had other options against the bottom team on a heavy, soggy ground.
