BANNER is WAY too BIG (Edit: now all fixed)

Great new that we havea 5th player in our sponsors group.

BUT the new layout with 5 photos under the Sainsational banner sucks..

It takes up over HALF of my widescreen.

That is way too much.

Please modify the design to something more sensible and less space hangry.

Geez thats odd, the image works fine for me. Fits perfectly.

If someone can suggest a new way to do it I'd be happy to change it around. It's hard with an odd number as you can't have it even on either side.

I'm using a small laptop screen and it literally takes up almost 2/3 of the screen.

Surely we could just have it on the home page.
Or at least a much reduced image.

Just call the side with three our backline as RL prefers to play an extra man back :wink:

Positioned either side is better...much more space efficient than having them underneath.

My laptop is widescreen version...and the new layout uses over half the height of the screen!!!!

Oh, trust me, 2 and 3 would look pretty bad. Will try though.

is it possible to reduce the size of the photos- they are great pics but seem to dominate the banner as the heading is now smaller in the layout


perhaps put a side banner onto one side of the home page with the larger photos- one photo under the other

and then just smaller pics under the heading on the forum page.

Forum Rules permit having a Footer of an item of interest/meaning to the forumite....and many forumites do.

There are rules on it's size which I have followed.

The Forum currently permits such an option. However please feel free to start a thread on having this option deleted.

In the meantime I will keep using it.

i dunno how you guys use the black themes, i find them horrible. i'm on the saintsational3 theme which doesn't display this banner at all.

but my two cents is that having all of them on one side is pretty ugly. how about three on the left and two on the right? asymmetrical is so hot right now.

To be honest...do we need the pics of the players now we have five? AFAIK most other Forums wioth multiple sponsors dont have them...and they are dominating the header at the expense of the forum name atm
